  Hidden costs..........

  Six of us have just returned form a week at these apartments. As people have already stated the bed linen and towels are added extras, but who wants to lug these things all the way to France, so just pay the money! The cleaning is so unfair. If you don't clean it to their standard they charge you anyway! On top of that they supply very little to enable you to clean the place - a brush and dustpan. That's it. You have to go to the supermarket and buy your own cleaning fluids and mop and bucket.......... not good. The balcony had no roof so we couldn't sit out when it was raining, but the icing on the cake was the lack of a swimming pool! Big lovely pic of it in the "French Life" brochure but we arrived to discover it was getting tiled and re painted! And the one man working on it didn't appear until the end of our stay. Needless to say pool bar was closed throughout. The rest of the apartment was ok, if not a little worn. Very uncomfortable sofas though. The hidden 6 euro tax per person was a surprise to us, but it's gotta be paid. The reception staff were of the attitude that everything was 'not their problem.' Cannes, Antibes and Monte Carlo are all fab, it's a beautiful area and even the walk along the beach front of Juan Les Pins is worthwhile. Go, but think twice of staying at these apartments!!!!!!!!!

  Don't Go!

  Having stayed in Nice for a short break the year before we knew we wanted to return to the area again for a weeks break. However, we were not prepared for the shock that was in store for us when we arrived at this awful complex. I would describe the inside as something akin to a block of 1950s Russian council flats! Reception staff totally unhelpful, damaged fixtures and fittings in the very basic apartment. Electrical plug sockets that fell out of the wall, broken balcony tables and chairs, sun canopies locked in place with bike cable locks so that we couldn't use them, pool snack bar permanently closed, beware of extra charge for air con (75 euros no less)!, local unexpected taxes to be paid on arrival, dogs in residence with the associated mess outside......I could go on and on and on. The establishment is a shambles and I am seeking to get compensation from the booking firm that we used, French Life. The surrounding areas are excellent but the standard of this apartment ruined our week.

  If you want a holiday you won't forget, then this is the place for you - but not in a good way

  Last minute booking and beggars can't be choosers, but still ... As others have said, it's in a no-mans land but the bus service makes it very accessible to Antibes (15 mins). The apartments are simply shocking: the cheapest furniture imaginable; ancient mattresses; shoddy finishing. If bargain basement is what you're after, then this is the place for you. It's cheap and there's a reason for that. The architecture is reminiscent of East German tower blocks from the 50s - grim, characterless, functional. On the upside, the apartments are so dreadful that you will want to spend as little time as possible in them which frees you up to enjoy Juan Les Pins and Antibes. But if this is all you can afford, then don't come to the Cote d'Azur in the summer. Go somewhere cheaper

  Bloody awful

  Dirty old and run down. Dirty dishes in this kitchen. No shower curtain... There was no hot water for our first 24 hours. It was hot and we couldn't take a shower! What a disaster. We had to pick up the key from Cannes...miles away...from the place. So stupid!! . So get this... we had to get a ride from Juan Les Pins to Cannes to pick up the bloody key and come back again. Idiotic. Just nasty. My daughter was covered in itchy bites either from the mozzies from the overgrown weed-filled garden OR perhaps they were bed bugs. More likely to bed the later. Utter crap. One of the many things that poilt our trip to France.

  Like a rathole

  I went to this hotel with SEMBO another rubbish company who refused a re-embusement after this horrible stay. I have picures I promise to give out to a news paper pretty soon. . Rotten kitchen . Dirty microwave . dirty balcon .Leaking aircondition Just a big time disappointment. NEver will we return to any of SEMBO's holidays but never to this hotel.
