  After checking in we decided to leave the hotel

  There is a major disconnect between the hotel website descriptions and the experience we had. While checking in we were taken to see the room, we had 3 beds randomly around the room and it did not feel like a room for a couple to stay, after looking in 3 different rooms we have to chose so we took the one looked the lesser of 3 evils and we checked in, then we were told that because they dont have too many guests (may be we were the only ones) , there is no buffet breakfast and we have to order now what we would like to have in morning and tell them what time we want our breakfast served. After taking our Luggage to the room (companied by number of dogs wondering around the premises), we realized that the room is not very clean as well and the Aircon is not really cooling the room ( it was a hot day of about 32deg C in the area). After all this we decided it is too much and left. We paid for the night and found a small hotel in town (much better to stay in town). This is the biggest disappointment in our 10 days trip in the mountains of central Greece. This is the biggest disconnect between the reviews and and what written in their website a unique place in order for you to have the holiday of a lifetime.

  beautifull hotel in the nature

  I stayed in this hotel during an autumn break. The hotel is very well decorated. The rooms, the lobby and the restaurant are very modern. It is situated outside in nature. A small river is nearby. The breakfast is very good with big variety. The only negative was during first night some kids in the next room were doing noise for about an hour, just before midnight. We asked the reception for help but the noise continued.

  Very clean, atmospheric hotel

  The hotel is very clean and the overall architecture is minimal. Is located in a very quiet area some km away from the city of Karpenisi. It is very friendly for kids. The pasta and the salads were very delicious.

  Oniropetra

  One of the best places we've ever been in Greece. Very clean, ideal for families, polite and helpful staff, great facilities, great location within 10 minutes drive from the town of Karpenisi. Ideal for summer and winter holidays.

  Not for the price you pay

  We visited Oniropetra with a friendly couple and a total of 3 children for a post-New Year gateway. We have booked the rooms way ahead and requested to have the rooms near in proximity that was simply forgotten and we end up in different floors / buildings. Upon our arrival in the room we found a lot of room deficiencies primarily on the furniture showing high tear which I immediately pointed out to the responsible employee that arrived after my call. I really didn't expect this from a room that is charged ~200Euros per night. Furniture tear might be normal but still expected by a lower price room, but finding the humidifier water tank full simply shows that cleaning or maintenance personnel neglects to empty it so I had to do it myself (again upon arrival). The thing that matters to me the most is that even after our stay 570 + 570 Euros for the 2 rooms and another ~300Euros of Coffe,Food and drinks we consumed in our stay, NOONE ever cared to give me some feedback on the complaints I had on the room and this simply shows a very disappointing level of management and lack of customer service. I must highlight the people working there are great and absolutely friendly but the management shall pay more attention. Even far more cheaper hotel pay very much attention to their customer's feedback.
