    Very Beautiful

The Room was small, but cosy and clean. The rooftop terrace is absolutely awesome. the hotel is near to the famous sky tree and the other areas. everything is easily reachable by the underground/subway. the staff was very kind and always there for help. we enjoyed our stay a lot. thanks for that! cool architecture, but otherwise lacking

I am a huge modern architecture fan; I spend most of my time in Tokyo drooling over the gorgeous modern buildings (have you seen the church that looks like a bird in ometesando?) and I'd been wanting to stay at one@tokyo for a bit. sadly, it was a mediocre experience. the overall design is lovely and exciting, but the details, the things a guest needs to feel comfortable away from home are sadly lacking. I need to start with the pillows. I travel a lot. and stay in all sorts of hotels. but never. ever, have I encountered rock hard pillows like the ones they provided. I have stayed at a dozen hotels in Tokyo, in all price ranges and never experienced the same, so I can't blame it on cultural differences, so what gives? I had a headache every single day of my stay and finally ended up using the folded up robe under my head, which wasn't comfortable, but much more so than the pillows. almost worse, the hotel is sadly aging and it isn't that old. paint is chipping. walls and doors are scuffed and filthy. i loved the filmy white curtains encircling the hallways, but eek, they need to be cleaned from time to time. on the plus side, I loved the quiet neighborhood (try the soba restaurant across the street. it was yummy) and the easy 2 minute walk to the subway. that said, be prepared for 45 minute journeys to get to any restaurant, site, or popular shop. these days, Tokyo is filled with cute, inexpensive design forward places to stay, so to my mind, one@tokyo needs to upgrade its experience or it will just become another slightly elevated motel 6 where budget backpackers can afford to stay.

    Easy clean convenient hotel

I cant understand the bad reviews for this hotel. First location-its a 5 min walk from skytree station (take the A1 or A3 exit from skytree to get you on the right road) this station can get you pretty much anywhere. Direct line to both Haneda and Narita. It is about 40 mins to Shinjuku but its a easy ride with just 1 change of train needed which is common in Tokyo. Theres a 7/11, lawson and family mart all within 5 min walk or less of the hotel. There is a yoshinoya next door and a cocoichbanya 10 mins walk away. We really enjoyed the location. The room itself- we had a standard studio room and shared as a couple with 2 medium sized suitcases. We are 6ft people and didnt feel particularly crowed as long as we kept our stuff relatively tidy. The handy phone given to you for free in your stay is super helpful and a great touch. Housekeeping changed bed and towels daily and had 2 free bottles of water daily. Room contains a/c, chromecast, fridge and japanese toilet. Bathroom could be a issue if you like personal space as thers just a thin door but it didnt bother us. Shower was lovely. Breakfast - this was average. Western style but a bit odd by european standard i.e pizza for breakfast and fried chicken or curry. However there was always bread, japanese toaster and yoghurt so you wont starve. We stayed a week and used this 4 times as were a bit sick of it after 3/4 days. Staff- staff were lovely, helpful and spoke english. Make sure you check out the rooftop! We ate our combini dinner on there when warm over looking tokyo. Would 100% recommend this hotel if you dobt mund being on the (accessible) beaten path!!
