  Muy pintoresco!

  La ubicación hace las comunicaciones difícil, la zona es bastante solitaria y limita un poco las salidas. El hotel es muy nuevo y la decoración muy interesante, quizás un poco rara o estrambótica. La habitación amplia y el desayuno demasiado chino para mi gusto.

  Unique hotel in Pudong area

  Stayed at One Home this past Thursday night while on business trip with other colleagues. This hotel was convenient to our office which was nice. The entrance and lobby are very unique and actually refreshingly creative. Love the lamps! They even have an art gallery accessible with a room key. Hotel room was uniquely designed. Shaving was awkward since there was no mirror above the sink. The Eames chair (if its not a knock-off) is an unexpected addition to the room. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast buffet offerings more than adequate. One recommendation for hotel would be to improve English competency of staff since there are a lot of foreigners likely to stay at this hotel in the Pudong area. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an upscale hotel that is reasonably priced in Pudong area.

  Away from the busy city centre

  This hotel is actually few minutes walk away from a metro station. Opposite of the hotel there are Macdonald;s. Attach with the hotel there are their own art museum which is free entry for the in house guest. Room is clean and big, no complaints. Staff is friendly as well to help order food delivery for us.

  First hotel of 4 in China

  First off this hotel could easily be a 4 star or better in North America or Europe. The rooms are quite spacious and include all the amenities one needs. Pros++ The location; its an 8min. Walk from a metro station. A bit far from the city, but thats where the metro comes in useful. Theres a McDonalds nearby that closes late. (Trust me youll be grateful) Theres also a small food court with local food and a supermarket. The restaurant in the hotel has really good sushi. For Shanghai this hotel and restaurants nearby are affordable. Do yourself a favor and skip the western type of breakfast and try the local one. Cons- - The hotel is 35-50 mins away from the airport. The staff barely speaks English. Thats the case everywhere in China. Download a translator app if youre not traveling with a guide. The restaurants/stores nearby close early. They dont have an extractor so get used to smelling like food, even if youre staying on the 3rd floor.

  not 5-star, odd service indeed

  art and decor are awesome - as are the bedroom fittings. But the staff dont give a shadow, nobody to help with baggage, disinterested, fancy room service? "why dont you come to the restaurant", arrive at restaurant at 8.30pm "we are closed", i would say "seasoned traveller only" - otherwise just come for a coffee and look at the art. They have a very deep misunderstanding of running a 5-star hotel. Rate is reasonable for Shanghai and metro station quite close.
