  Newly constructed, friendly staffs

  The hotel is newly build. The staffs are very friendly. They are honest. However, they do face difficulties in speaking proper English (as if the case in Vietnam). From price point of view, it is definitely value for money. One area of improvement is their breakfast menu. The breakfast is complimentary, but choices are very limited. Also, their cook does not speak English

  Clean and tidy... Good and friendly staff!!!

  It was simple and very clean and tidy. Good staff!! Ideal for business and family trips... Rooms was cleaned on time and well... Wifi was pretty decent... Being a veggie, there wasn't many options in Breakfast... But fruits and bread helped... Staff needs to improve English...

  Very kind + comfortable + clean hotel with good price in Hanoi

  It was a fortune to me to find this hotel in Hanoi. I stayed 1 night at this hotel, I didn`t make a reservation however price was same. ( To consider Credit card commission for overseas use, To pay cash at Hotel counter is much better for all hotel ) Room condition was clean and tidy. no dust no bug. Bed and sheet was clean and comfortable as well. I suffered from noise by young students however night shift manager at reception helped me to keep the noise maker silent. I suggested a solution to keep hotel better and the reception lady in the morning listened me in good manner. Breakfast was not simple, It provides all [Key] meals. It was happy day at the hotel, I will stay at One Hotel the next visit to Hanoi. Good access point and silent location at Cau Giay district. i would like to give A + to this hotel and recommend to others.

  good bargain hotel in quiet area

  The hotel is about 8km to Old Quarter, around USD$3 by UBER, not a bad choice if you would like to stay in relatively quiet area. Room itself is fairly standard, nice and clean, only one little thing to improve which is the bathroom doesn't have curtain to prevent making the floor wet when showering, this should be an easy fix. Staff are very very friendly, and mostly speak great English, so much patient to help with any tour related questions, and very willing to share good local restaurants to visit. Breakfast is at the top floor with great view, Pho here is actually very nice!!

  Not bad...not great either

  My family and I live in Hanoi, but we needed a hotel to stay in because our apartment was getting repainted. We settled on One Hotel because it was within walking distance of some restaurants (well, according to Google Maps). Price: The cost per night was pretty inexpensive (<$30 per night), but I wouldn't say it was a good value due to the location of the hotel: it's not in a touristy section of town and there is nothing really around it. I will admit that I could be wrong here as the hotel next door had a ton of foreigners. However, I just don't see this as a good value considering what you can get elsewhere in town. Room: Less than 30 square meters, but it was not cramped. The decor was decent, the television worked and the bathroom was adequate. Cleanliness: We found a roach the first night and almost complained about it. But, there are roaches all over the city and we didn't see any the rest of our time there. Service: Overall, the service was adequate. No complaints, but the staff will not go out of their way for anything. Restaurant: The restaurant was a surprise: it was pretty good considering breakfast was free. They made eggs to order and the pho was pretty good. The eating area is spacious and clean. Definitely a highlight of the hotel. Conclusion: I just don't see myself staying here again given the other options around town. If you need to stay here because of location to a family member or something, than One Hotel may be a good choice.
