Great choice for Lake GardaTorri del Beneco is a relatively quiet town and a good choice if you want to escape the busy towns of Garda and Bardolino nearby. This hotel is excellent. Each room has a private balcony. The rooms are simply furnished but immaculately clean. Breakfast is a really good buffet. The owner is very friendly and obviously enjoys running this superb establishment.

Lovely B&B in charming town!We are a family that stayed here for one night. The rooms are very clean and neat, and the location is close to the gorgeous town centre. It is possible to walk everywhere from here. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also a very good typical Italian breakfast! Enough parking and WiFi access is available, and the room rate was very affordable. I can definately recommend a visit to this lovely town and this B&B.

Pleasant StayWe stayed here for 5 nights and found it very good. The two brothers that run it are extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is run very well. You don't get great views of the lake but honestly you don't need to. This hotel is close to all amenities and a short walk to the lake. The room we stayed in was small but adequate, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The only negative thing was that our room was at the front just over the reception area of the hotel and the noise of traffic day and night was to much. I would stay in this hotel again but definitely not in that room .

Lovely HotelHotel Garni Onda is a short 300mtr walk to the lakeside of Lake Garda with its bars and restaurants. The two owners are very pleasant and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. No restaurant but there are lots of places to eat and drink in beautiful Torri village. Good breakfast on offer and is included in the room price. Car parking is free and is a little cramped at busy times but it was never a problem. Excellent WiFi. Our room was very small but we had a balcony we could sit out on, if not for that it would have felt a bit claustrophobic. The room looked clean but at one point I opened the balcony window and a big dust bunny blew out from under the bed - that's nit picking though really because apart from that it was acceptably clean. It was ok for our 3 night stay but any longer and the size would have made it unsuitable. My advice would be to ask for a larger room if planning to stay here any longer than a few days Torri del Benaco is a great place to visit Lake Garda, and this hotel is a really good find and excellent value. We bused it to Riva and got the boat back to Malcestine then the bus from there back to Torri. This took us best part of the day to do as there was so much to see and explore. Did this as part of a Euro road trip and really wish we'd have stayed longer here. Highly recommended area and hotel.

Poor-to-averageI have to disagree with the other reviews of this small hotel. We stayed here for one night, and I think the hotel is both objectively uncomfortable and a poor value for money at more than EUR 100/night. Specifically: - The hotel had one of the stiffest, most firm mattresses I had ever slept on. Decor is quite spartan. The much-ballyhooed balconies are non-existent on the ground floor rooms. - The air conditioning was controlled centrally, meaning you had no flexibility as to when to turn it on or off. - The bathroom remodeling appeared to be from the 1960s. The toilet was flush against the corner of a wall, meaning they would be difficult to use for people with accessibility issues. - The staff was generally unhelpful. I asked whether there was a good gelateria in town; they couldn't say, and eventually I was told to "please wait ten minutes." There was no follow-up. (Incidentally, another local person told me the answer to this question: Miralago Gelato, about 5 minutes away by foot.) I also asked about parking near the Albergo Gardesana; it's not a long walk away, but one of my party has some accessibility issues. The owner told me it was "not possible" to park there and that there would be issues "with the police" if I did so. In reality, there is a car park near the castle, which is just across from the Albergo Gardesana. I can't believe these are uncommon questions from tourists. - The car park is not locked at night. The owner openly told me he deliberately leaves the gate open. That defeats the point of having a gate. - Smoking is permitted in the rooms (at least mine had an ashtray). - The breakfast is a bit underwhelming. The eggs were institutional and cold; there was no fresh juice, only packaged; and there were only pre-packaged croissants. I suppose there's something to be said for keeping expectations low at a two-star property, and we only stayed one night. Still, I had better experiences at nearby towns at comparable price ranges. And I had significantly better experiences at AirBnB properties in Valpolicella.
