  Great place to stay!

  Spacious apartment that looks to have been recently renovating. The owner appears to live on site and is very accommodating. Big advantage being only a short, pleasant stroll into town. Listen to the owner when she tells you to make a booking at the pub for dinner!

  Great location as everything is in walking distance. Stayed in the one bedroom apartment which was immaculately clean and had very modern decor. The host was absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Would Highly recommend.

  Couldnt have asked for better.

  This accommodation was perfect. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and provided everything we needed. The bed was amazing. We loved the outlook to the bay from our room.

  Outstanding

  Could not fault this place. Had originally booked the separate studio apartment but decided to spend a little more and have a full kitchen in one of the units in the main house. The view from our front window was just stunning and it was hard to tear ourselves away every morning to enjoy the delights of the local area! A huge terrace out the front overlooks the harbour and there is comfy seating to enjoy the view from. The unit is spotlessly clean, modern decor, big fluffy towels, plenty of pillows, great shower - not a thing that hadnt been thought of. Wifi was the best we encountered outside of Hobart! The hosts were very friendly and approachable, stopping for a chat whenever we saw them. There is a seafood restaurant two doors down which also sells excellent takeaway fish and chips and salads. I wold suggest taking your own wine if you visit Stanley, however. The prices at the local pub were quite expensive - a wine Id bought a few days earlier was $10 a bottle more here. A local told me to go to Smithton, just up the road for supplies! Definitely our favourite accommodation during our 2 week holiday and would recommend without hesitation.

  Magnificent view and lovely apartment

  Spent 2 nights in this lovely place: the view from the front window was spectacular! The apartment is well appointed with lots of lovely extra touches. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. It's an easy walk to everything Stanley has to offer. The hosts are friendly and helpful. I would recommend On the Terrace to anybody looking for a getaway to Stanley
