  Great location.

  We booked a two night stay here for my husbands 30th birthday, our first weekend without the kids in a long time so we were very excited! First of all the price was great, cheapest we could find for that weekend. Location was excellent, on the river and walking distance to the tavern, restaurants ect so that was fantastic. The room we stayed in was Okay, the bed was hard and there were no towels in the room. However, a friend of ours were staying in the same resort and theirs was a lot nicer. So not all rooms are the same. Our only problem was from the moment I mentioned it was my husbands birthday the owners were very concerned we were going to make noise I guess. They asked us multiple times, upon booking and checking in if we were going out, to which we said no, we are just going to relax here.. to which the woman said "are you sure?" I don't think we look like loud, party people.. we are just a married couple wanting to relax for the weekend without our kids. The male owner was very concerned about where we were tying our boat up ect. Even following us to the water and making sure we did everything "right". Apart from the owners making us feel like we are party animals (despite us being in bed by 8.30pm) it was a nice weekend.

  NOT FOR KIDS

  We booked in a room for 2 adults and 2 kids at late notice & we got a back room with no view - which we knew - we had other family staying so we were happy as they had a river facing apartment. When we checked in our daughter was excited and came in the office and was asked to be a little quieter by us and the manager said "good - we don't like loud children around here" Then went on to let us know about parents not being good these days with loud children. Our room was ok - screen doors on deck were falling off with the wind - there is no way known this was a new issue so maintenance is obviously an issue. Beautiful grassed area at front going to the jetty - kids playing with a soccer ball were told they could not play - this is because they don't want to ruin their gardens and pot plants - kids were told off for being a bit loud in the lift at 10am and that noise travels - kids as per rules on the wall in the kitchen, once they have eaten their evening meal that they should not go out on the apartment decks. So yay for Family Time! Kids were told off for running on the jetty too loudly... it was insane! I did speak to the owner about the fact that its not family friendly - he obviously disagreed - but I suppose this is how we felt having all been to many places on the Sunshine Coast. Its a beautiful spot - the apartments facing the river are lovely - but we would never recommend this for families of kids who are active and like to play outside.

  Lovely place to stay

  We were offered this place when we couldn't stay at another we booked due to no lifts as I had my elderly parents with me. When we opened the door we loved it view over the river large open plan lounge kitchen down a huge hallway to lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds . It was just what we needed after the stress of not being able to stay where we booked . It cost more than we usually pay but we were so happy with it we would save and stay again .

  Lovely location but apartment in need of clean and update

  The apartment is in a great location, close to shops in Maroochydore and right on the river. The pool is lovely and warm. The apartment itself (unit 6) was very dirty and dusty, in dire need of a spring clean and some updating. We used the vacuum cleaner in the apartment the day we arrived and it hardly worked. The fridge and cupboards also need to be cleaned, as do the blinds, window sills, curtains and fixtures. Would definitely stay in the area again but would not stay at these apartments, nor recommended this accommodation to others, based on this trip.

  Fantastic stay!

  We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on the water. The view was fantastic. Apartment was massive and well fitted out for a large family. Our 5 year old spent the whole time fishing and the kayaks that were there for hire. Not far to walk to shops, cafes, pubs etc. we didnt use the cars at all. Loved it so much my retired parents stayed on while we had to come back to reality. We will be back!
