  Bello y con la mejor ubicaciòn, sobre RiverWalk

  PROS. Las habitaciones internas estàn recientemente remodeladas, muy bonitas y la mejor cama de todo mi viaje. Tiene WiFi gratis, TV on Demand, Refrigerador, Caja fuerte y cafetera de cortesía. La ubicaciòn es inmejorable. CONS. El servicio de recepciòn es bueno pero la persona que hace de Botones y Valet Parking me informo que tienen parqueo interno pero cuesta $45 el dìa, por lo que no aceptè, se molestò, se diò la vuelta y ya no ayudó con el equipaje. Fui al parqueo pùblico de enfrente y preguntè, la tarifa es de $16 el dìa.

  Horrible Check In and Privacy Breach

  Ive only stayed at this hotel twice, but this past weekend will be my last. I had such a horrible experience upon check in. I asked the receptionist if I had a riverwalk view and she said I cant tell you anything about your room until you check in. The funny thing is that she was able to tell my friend that I was going to be a few doors down but couldnt tell me anything about my own room that was in my name. They stated that my friend had a note to put my room close to hers. I called and spoke to the front desk manager Brian about my experience which he was aware of (mind you, not one time did a manager contact me during my stay which would have been the right thing to do with a guest that is upset). Brian made me feel like I shouldnt have an issue and that it was not an issue that his front desk receptionist gave info to another guest about my room but wouldnt give it to the person whos name it was under. I specifically asked him, so you dont think that this is an issue and he said no. I was appalled. I will be calling corporate. I normally stay at La Cantera Resort and thats where I will continue to go when Im in San Antonio.

  Will not be back

  All of the amenities were shut down including the pool and restaurant. The location was great but that was all it had going for it. The rooms were underwhelming to say the least and the shower smelled like mildew. The bottom floor was flooded (not their fault) but took away from the atmosphere. None of the hand sanitizers worked and some of the elevators were closed. For being one of the most expensive places to stay on the Riverwalk we expected a lot more. Weve moved over to the Contessa and couldnt be happier. Save your money...this hotel is absolutely not worth it.

  Winter Getaway With Friends

  We stayed four nights here. Had a wonderful time. Staff were great, very friendly and courteous. Always quick to assist with any questions etc. Highly recommended. The hotel was located in an excellent location right on the river walk.

  Completely Underwhelming

  I remember La Mansion being one of the premier hotels in San Antonio and thats why I decided to have a little staycation there with the family. It was hugely disappointing. Check-in at the best hotels makes you feel like a VIP. Staff at the best hotels greet you, continually offer to help, open doors for you, talk about the hotels amenities and make you feel like they will do just about anything to make your stay better. Check in at LaMansion felt more like checking into a Best Western on the overnight shift-barely any staff on site, zero effort, and there was nowhere in the hotel to get a drink or a bite to eat-not even room service. And this was in the middle of the day. And no concierge to help guests with anything. I paid extra for a river walk view but even that was underwhelming- my view consisted of mostly dead palm leaves that hadnt yet been trimmed back after the winter storm. The rooms have gone downhill as well. Theyre decent, but everything about them is consistent with every other mediocre hotel. Of course there was no turndown service and they encourage you to forgo housekeeping as part of their COVID efforts. And the few housekeeping staff they do have on-site dont use service elevators. So you may have to navigate around them or wait longer for the elevators. Other than the valet guys who were super helpful I might has well have stayed in a cheap mediocre hotel. What a shame to waste a Riverwalk hotel with such beautiful architecture.
