  Touchdown!

  Cowboy fan or not this place is a "touchdown". From check in to check out was treated to such hospitality. Was greeted I believe by Sandy who set the standard for our experience. She explained all the amenities with grace and charm. Amid the Covid 19 challenge's, which limited experiencing all the things the Star at Frisco has to offer, the hotel by far was still an experience. Our room was well kept, clean and provided great views as promised. All the Cowboy memrabilia and color scheme definitely brought a sense of pride for fans like ourselves. All the staff seemed to be true fans as well. Talk about going above and beyond, one of the shops was closed, but Ceasar took the time to open the doors just for us to quickly browse and get a few photos!. Everything you could want to experience is in walking distance which was a great convenience not to mention the complimentary parking provided. For a great getaway I definitely recommend the Omni Frisco....go Cowboys!

  Nice stay

  I have stayed here 3 or 4 times. This time did not feel quite as much like a luxury hotel as it has in the past. I felt like the beds were not as comfortable and the linens weren't quite as nice. In the past, I have stayed on the street side of the hotel, which I find to be quieter than the side that faces Ford Field. I felt it was a bit noisy being on that side this time. As a rule, I find that Omnis are sometimes noisier than other hotels in the same price range, many times I can here people talking in the hallways late into the night. Don't get me wrong, this is still a very nice hotel and you can't beat the area for having a variety of restaurants right there within walking distance. The Neighborhood Services restaurant was only open for dinner and not for breakfast during our stay due to changes made for COVID. That was a bit of a disappointment as we normally like to eat breakfast there before checking out.

  Home away from home

  This was my second time staying here. The first time my husband and I stayed for our anniversary. I loved it so much, I booked it again for my me weekend! Both times, Ive stayed in the Frisco Suite. The suite is perfect! Its like a mini apartment. The only thing missing is a microwave! The room is clean and everything is comfortable. The coffee table in the living area is the perfect size for a puzzle! The staff have been incredible! They even sent me a bottle of champagne to thank me for the review I did after my first stay!! I have started taking me vacations to get away from it all and my goal is to never have to leave the room. If it wasnt for COVID, I would meet that goal! Unfortunately, with COVID, there is no room service, however, the location is perfect and within walking distance to several great restaurants and you can also order delivery! Ive deemed this hotel to be my new home away from home whenever I need a weekend to myself. The TVs have smart technology that will allow you to cast your Netflix, hulu, etc, from your phone onto the tv so you can watch your own stuff. I love this hotel!

  You don't get what you expect

  The property did not go the extra mile to accommodate us considering the fact that the restaurants were closed and no room service was available. Apparently the restaurants are only open Thursday-Sunday, yet we arrived on a Wednesday! The parking situation was beyond confusing, there was inadequate signage to the point that we were unable to locate the elevator banks leading to the hotel and entered an elevator bank for the gym that was clear across the property. Lastly, there was a storm which delayed our departure flight so we asked for a late check out and was told that there would be a "fee" in order stay until 2:00...which would have been Ok under normal circumstances but the fact that the hotel was empty, the least they could have done was accommodate my request to make up for the other shortcomings considering we paid for a 4star experience that didn't happen! The only positive was Caesar at the front desk upon check in and the following morning, he was friendly and accommodating and was generous with the snacks offered in lieu of the restaurant closures. All other staff that I encountered were rude, and not accommodating....when I was looking for the bar on Wednesday (not realizing everything was closed) I was offered a "glass of wine" by a woman that shook me down to prove that I was a guest. Overall, the experience left me with a bad taste which was unlike the warm, friendly southern hospitality I received everywhere in Texas but not at the Omni Frisco.

  Wonderful Stay!!

  We are never disappointed at this hotel! Parking was easy and nearby! We were greeted with a friendly face, received an awesome upgrade, the room was immaculate, quiet, and everything that wed want, plus some, in a hotel. As we left the next morning, we were asked how our stay was...overall another superior experience at this hotel. Thank you, Omni Frisco!
