Nice but not LuxuriousThis resort is nothing special relative to the price. We paid a little more than $900/night for one room on a golf packge and a second deluxe with a balcony(2x8 and not big enough for a chair). The rooms were very pedestrian and the hotel seemed nearly empty(never passed even one person on our hall in 3 days). While enroute on the day of checkin we received a text asking for special request(a nice touch) to which we responded the view was most important. When we checked in they put us on floor 6 overlooking the parking lot. One room wasnt ready at 4PM on arrival and the bellman dropped the bags at the doorway and left quickly. When we got into the room it had only partially been cleaned and a towel that had been used to sop up spilled coffee(still wet) was placed back hanging as if not used. The coffee pids were low end and undrinkabe. The bed was better than average and the HVAC worked well. One disappointment was the room had a standard tub shower. Not a walkin. The place is really pricey in several ways. Valet is 37.50/day and the resort fee is and adder. The food is very expensive. The average entree at the marquis restaurant is about $50-55 and everything is a-la-carte. Plan on $300+ for 3 people. The other restaurants were mostly closed(due to low occupancy I assue) but the ones that were open were expensive. Breakfast for 3 at Crenshaws was $90 with tip. The small coffee show was equally as bad. There 3 not fresh bagels and a coffee was $25. They give you a $75 resort credit and some drink coupons which is a must to use to help offset some of the cost. The golf course was great and really the only draw, but it too is expensive at $280/per round. All in all this is a nice resort but nothing special for the price. Its would be a 4 star for me if it werent for the price wihich makes it not a good value.

Excellent Holiday StayMy husband and I loved our stay at the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. We can't wait to come back next year! We appreciated the Holiday-themed sweet treat provided to us upon arrival. Additionally, the concierge was incredibly helpful and handed us a cute flyer with all of the Holiday-themed activities happening over the weekend. Concierge was great at answering our questions with kindness and was willing to take a picture of us by the beautiful Christmas Tree in the lobby. We had such a fun Holiday experience! We were cheap and didn't pay for the valet parking, but we deeply appreciated the golf cart shuttle from the parking garage to the resort. It was cold and the dark walk would've been uncomfortable since we didn't know our way around the resort yet. The Fire Pits are GREAT. Please offer s'mores kits next year too! I posted on insta about it and I have several friends wanting to go on a trip together next year for all of the Christmas-y activities at the Resort. It was really pleasant to be able to make s'mores with a beautiful view. Best of all, we didn't smell like a campfire afterwards. Next year, we need to arrive in time to sit outdoors with a drink while the sun sets. It is so beautiful out there and there is plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. The chairs rocked. Literally. The lights around the resort are all super cute and fun. It was nice because my husband and I constantly had things to do while visiting. Aside from wearing a mask and social distancing, it felt like it was a normal mini-vacation. The mini golf was very fun and Christmas-y too! There also were nice yard games set up as well. We highly recommend Bob's Steak and Chop House. It was delicious. The bread was incredible. Our server was very friendly and helpful. As a mac & cheese-obsessed person, I thoroughly enjoyed the mac. The flavors were great and it didn't taste like alfredo as many fancier mac and cheeses do. The steak was good too. Additionally, the gym is an actual full size gym. We definitely made note of that and will also pack our swimsuits for the indoor pool next time. We noticed many families taking advantage of the outdoor pools. They must be heated or the kids were just excited to be in a pool with not many people around. The room we stayed in was great! The bed was comfy and I appreciated the sanitized remote. The water bottles provided near the Keurig were a nice touch. Thank you guys for not putting a Starbucks in the lobby. My husband and I ordered from the Velvet Joe's Holiday menu and it is so pleasant to drink coffee that tastes like REAL coffee. It wasn't overly syrupy, but rather perfect. Thank you all for providing a relaxing holiday weekend! It was enjoyable to kick back and forget about COVID and holiday stress and just to enjoy.

Serene Escape! My husband and I just stayed at the Omni Barton Creek Resort...and it was truly an amazing experience. The property itself is stunning - mixed in with the beautiful hills of Austin. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, the cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the food was top-notch. This is the getaway you need and deserve!

Great Hill Country Flavor.I have been to this resort to play golf a few times but we have never stayed. We always try to stay in a suite when we travel. We like a lot of space. This one was over the top large! The living area was outstanding. Full den, dining table, and two balconies overlooking the golf course. The service was really good also.
