  Welcoming & Helpful

  The owners of OMahoneys were accommodating and helped me organize my Ring of Kerry bus tour and allowed me to keep my rental car at their B&B despite being officially checked out... Rooms were clean and it was en suite which is always a plus! I was within walking distance from the city centre where I had dinner at Danny Manns!

  Traveling from the US

  We stayed for one night. The house was clean and cozy. Our room was just what we needed. The host and hostess were lovely and helped guide us on some trip details. The B&B is a pretty far walk from town but we did walk it. The driveway is very tight, but like most Irish road ways a passageways it fits in!

  Killarney Rest

  OMahonys was a peaceful respite just a 15 minute walk from the very busy town of Killarney. Ensuite Room #5 held a queen size and twin bed, with an updated shower stall/sink/commode. The room was fair sized, clean and comfortably appointed. We had chilly nights, although we had been told the heat was on (hot water radiators that we could not seem to adjust until they magically came on in the morning), but we were cozy under the covers in a comfortable bed. Breakfast was hearty and Sheila was more than accommodating regarding your preferences. The parlor downstairs was small but comfortable for our next day planning efforts in the evening, and we felt quite comfortable being there. The location was great for Ross Castle and Killarney Park, etc., and quite walkable to go downtown for dinner and the sights there (easier than driving the busy city streets). Be aware of the driveway entry...it is a narrow, sharp turn and then sort of a tunnel to the parking behing the B&B. We would definitely stay again.

  Lovely hosts

  We stayed 3 nights here. The hosts were so sweet, kind and personable. They helped us drag our luggage upstairs and gave us lots of hints on where to go ., our room was spotless and the breakfasts were very good! Lovely couple!

  Great stay

  Nice welcome. We were a bit late getting there but absolutely no problem. Nice room well furnished plenty of room. Great advice on travel tips. Great breakfast with lots of options. Walk to town with tons to do and some great pubs. Would stay again
