    Such a comfort boutique hotel

Even I am from Yogyakarta, but I have 3 times stay at this hotel. It's easy to find, nearby some touristy spots, such as Keraton Yogyakarta, Alun2, Kotageda Silver Center, and Malioboro. Overall, i really recommend this hotel for budget tourists.

It is not a boutique hotel but it is OKAY

Despite the the word Boutique Hotel written after the hotel's name, I may not call it as one. For me the image of a boutique hotel I ever stay didn't came across my mind during my stay in Omah Pari. I prefer to call it a nice and comfortable budget accommodation in town. It is. Dutch architecture design of hotel's verandah gives a good impression for me. Abd I'm not wrong. During my stay I can say that my first impression is not wrong. I enjoy staying there. The room and the bathroom are clean. The bed? ye it is also clean and properly made. After a whole day of recce for photo shooting at the Mt Merapi, I can rest properly in the room. Bath room is shower with hot and cold water. The staff is friendly and helpful and the room rate is good. Compare to other budget accommodation facilities in town, it is highly recommended due to its cleanliness and comfortable rooms. And of the uniqueness of the hotel, again according to my subjective point of view, is its location in an ordinary community settlement so I can see the ordinary life of this touristic and cultural city of Yogya.

Quiet place to stay away from street hussle

This was our second stay at this hotel. Last time we stayed in Oct of 2014 and based on that experience we decided to go back. This time we did not include breakfast in the booking because we were not impressed last time and there are plenty of options available. Good points are spacious rooms, attentiveness of the staff and their willingness to help, even when they speak no word in English (below), price, location in a quiet residential neighborhood away from busy tourist districts. Overall - for the price we paid I think we got really good value. Now the minus side: again, the location, if you really want to be close to the main tourist activities. There are not too many places to eat out in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but you are OK with street food at warungs - they are everywhere. Finally, during noon-day hours shift staff at the reception does not speak English at all, however are still willing to help. Just fire up google translate and you will be fine. Please also note that while upper floors rooms are sunnier, they also get poor wifi reception. Location also dictates that it will take you at least 45 min to reach hotel (and reverse) from the airport. it is 80K fixed price from the airport and 100K by meter. But all the negative points do not outweigh positive points.

"Away from too much City Noise"

Travelled with a friend to Yogyakarta to attend an International Conference and stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. If you guys want to have a quite place to stay, Omah Pari is a place to be. It is located in a residential area which I think is not advisable for luxury-seekers. But for me who's working around a budget, this place is a good choice. Staffs are very kind and hospitable. They can speak survival English and can guide you to interesting places in their city. If you are not an adventurous-eater, you should bring your own food or can eat out coz for picky ones, I don't think you're gonna appreciate the breakfast. Thank you to the kind ladies and gentlemen. You made our stay comfortable! More power! Thumbs up!
