Average hotel, nothing more or nothing less...

I stayed in this hotel because someone offered to pay for the stay (just a business associate, not anyone involved with the hotel). I stayed for 6 nights and it was okay. The internet was out couple of times for few hours, but the wi-fi worked in the room unlike the other reviewer (possibly it's the location of your room in the building). Talking about the room, the lights are dim, the bed is extremely soft and the bathroom was not the most sanitary one I've seen (may be that is why the lights are dim). There is McDonald's, KFC, Pizza joint along with some local restaurants nearby. I enjoyed the seafood restaurant just around the corner of the hotel (second floor). The staff is not rude or anything, but neither friendly or courteous. If you can avoid the breakfast and eat out...I would suggest you do because there's nothing that I enjoyed other than "bean sprouts" (I hope this tells what other foods are like). I tried the same restaurant for dinner and it was edible (No English menu). To sum it all, it should be an average hotel for domestic travellers who can speak Chinese language. However, I would not recommend to someone who don't speak Chinese language and are not used to local foods (or who can't sleep on a soft bed).

    Below Average

Probably it was a nice trendy hotel during the Beijing Olympics! Management didn't bother about any renovation since then it seems! Room has an unpleasant musty smell. Furniture and doors actually have grown some moulds! Towels, bedsheets have stains! The owners have converted half the building into office spaces using the same lifts and lobby! Pretty weird to say the least. Breakfast is horrible! Location actually is not very close to the Olympic Village. It's probably between the 5th and 6th circular roads, but closer to the airport. The building from outside still looks pretty good though. And there is a supermarket (Wu Mart) and KFC, McDonald and other local eateries next to the hotel. Got my extra rating point for this!

    Horrible and dirty hotel

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever been in. The furniture is old and everything was dirty, including the carpet. As you can see in the photos. I chose a non smoking room but it reeked of smoke. A man walked over to the front desk and just smoked! The front staff did nothing about it. The front staff did not know any English. I had to use Google translator the entire time and not sure if it translated like it should. I could also hear the TV and people having sex in the next room. I barely slept while I was there. This is a 1star hotel!the front staff seemed very unorganized. They asked for me to make a payment but I already paid online 3 months prior. I don't know if they were trying to scam me but I told them I already paid online and they weren't getting any money from me. I gave then my credit card for the deposit but they report that I would receive the refund after checking out. Everything I wanted to see was over an hour away from the hotel anyways so it was a bad location for traveling. Do not book here. Also,I asked them if they could book a cab with a meter because most of the cab drivers were rip offs if they didn't have meters installed in their car. It took me over an hour of going back and forth with Google translate just to get a cab! It was exhausting. Check out the pictures for yourself.

    Nice but old

The hotel bears a very old look with Chinese like interiors. The rooms are bit dark, and with wooden furniture and look. Size is good, bathroom ok with toiletries , shaving and dental kits. Restaurant on the sixth floor serves average breakfast. Little options for vegetarians like me. Staffs struggle with English, so it is better to use any application for Mandarin English translation. The location has a very good department store nearby. The bed is comfortable.

    Dont stay here!

This hotel is geared towards visitors or business people from 3rd tier cities in china. No one speaks English, the rooms filthy, stains all over carpets and on walls. The area is by 6 road, so far out cabs wont take you there from downtown unless they can charge you triple. Local transit is the better option. They are using the Olympic name, but no where near that area and tricking people into the idea that they are.
