  Wonderful hotel

  We found this 3 star hotel to have all the amenities and professionalism of a 4 star hotel. This is a great place to spend an Alpine vacation, and the people are very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

  Terrible, owners not interested and messed up our booking

  We had booked in to stay here at the end of Jan 2011. I had to telephone then to confirm our booking as their response to emails was VERY poor ie they did not reply. The owner confirmed our booking for a family room (2 adults 2 children) and we arrived the next evening. When we arrived at 6pm in the evening we were told that there was not a family room available, the booking should not have been taken and there were 2 single rooms available in different areas of the hotel so one parent could share with one child and the othe parent with the other child. -NOT what we had booked. The desk clerk said there were no family rooms available until Sunday (we wanted 4 nights from Thursday onwards) and another member said it may be availabe the next day!!! With 2 tired children we decided not to stay as they were confused about what was available and got a full refund on the deposit paid. We then spent the next 2 hours searching for another hote. The staff were not helpful in finding accommodation and appeared dissinterested in our problem (caused 100% by them). The hotel itself (or the lobby area) was very dated 1960s style, and Cavadago seemed to be very small, not near the slopes for skiing nor any restaurants. I would never book again or trust then to get the booking correct despite checking and sending a deposit.

  Great Deal for family travelers

  We enjoyed the half board meals very much. The food was very good and more than enough! Our room was clean although small by American thinking. I would tell any of my American friends that you do not travel Europe to experience the hotel room but to experience Europe. Having said that I would like to mention that the spa at Olisamir was very nice and counter to most European spas, it is not clothing optional. They prefer that you remain covered at all times. This hotel was a very short drive to Lake Molveno, which was beautiful and located in some of the best hiking and mountain bike trails I have seen in Italy. Boat rentals, Paragliding, shopping, it was all there and we had a great time.

  Not recommended at all

  Unfriendly boss, ridiculous wellness fitnesss area for 20 euro, small amount of food, enough for a baby maybe. Cold rooms. Avoid this place. No cooperation. The waiters and waitresses were nice. The wifi is weak.

  Bad choice....

  Terrible breakfast and disgusting dinner, small, poor and cold rooms, unfriendly and arrogant boss, very funny wellness - fee 5 euros for towel rental. you cant get out of room. The hotel's facilities are very old and impractical
