    A good experience,

    The view to the river was nice, the room was big and clean. Beds were comfortable. Room provided all the basic needs, nothing fancy, nothing missing. The breakfast was good, with little daily variations. Fresh fruits were great, actually the best part of the breakfast. We could enjoy the balcony for breakfast with an exceptional view of the old part of the city. The bell boy was very kind and helpful. You can get to the city attractions in 15 minutes walk. It was a good choice for us, as we got of the hotel after breakfast and returned late.

    You Pay For A View

    We loved the view, it was amazing but the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. Old dirty carpet, very uncomfortable beds, awful pillows, the bathroom floods every time you take a shower, and the breakfast was not to our liking; however, having said all of that, did I mention the view? Yes, the view was all that. The staff were friendly and attentive and the location was good.

    It's like sitting on a balcony over the river with view to the old town ...

    The hotel is located in an avenue,a fifteen minutes walk from the old town. So prefer a taxi or preferably public means of transport (buses) to reach there. The main pros is the amazing, excellent view of the old town from the hotel's restaurant' veranda. It's like sitting on a balcony over the river with view to the old town. A best place to enjoy your breakfast in Tbilisi. The rooms are clean, comfortable, airconditioned and quiet. The personel is friendly, maybe because it is a small hotel, giving a sensation of family. I stayed there a few days ago, in a group visit to Georgia. So, I recommend this hotel!

    Be careful of the room type you book and pay for in this hotel.

    Very dishonest management! The hotel will sell you a family room with a terrace even though it is not available! We were a group of 4 people and bought 4 family rooms with terrace for 3 nights through booking.com. At the time of arrival, only 1 person got a room that he paid for and the rest of us had to take standard rooms since we came late at night and were tired of travel, we agreed to take the rooms offered and move next day. Next day we came to a shock when receptionist gave us a message from the manager who did not bother to meet us or apologize for the inconvenience caused since she was out of the city. The management offered deluxe rooms with no view although I paid for a river view as well as that they can not change the room rate for the first night since they pay commission to booking.com based on the family room and not a standard room that we stayed last night! I have to admit that I have traveled the world and never experienced such blatant manner towards a customer. After a long argument and time wasted at the hotel and poor receptionist being a messenger over the phone. The manager offered to move us to a deluxe room with a river view since simply they did not have that many family rooms with a terrace as it seemed. I was expecting to be charged for the first night standard room rate and 2 nights deluxe rate, however at the time of checkout, the receptionist stated that we got a ''17 $ discount'' from initial invoice of 3 nights in a family room. Again no manager to talk to and no one approached us about the price difference. My suggestion if you really want to stay in this hotel just book their basic rooms since you will not get what you paid for.

    Superb view of river

    If you want to enjoy the river view and the city from the balcony, then this is the best hotel in Tbilisi. Book a hotel with balcony view and watch the sunrise and sun city with night view of the city. The staffs are very cooperative and very kind. I recommend this hotel for the price.
