Could be betterBeware English speaking travelers! The staff speak 0 English. Not a word. Arranging rooms, taxis, dinners is a struggle. Eating dinner at the resort is very expensive and not worthwhile, I would suggest walking 10-20 minutes outside for other restaurant options. The breakfast was gross but other people seemed to like it. The lunch beach side restaurant was great. The facilities are beautiful. Beach is great. Hotel room is also very beautiful. Don't expect a 4 star resort though. The amenities are illogical, in terms of availability, prices, and bookings. The spa was great, massage was amazing. I would also suggest the sunset catamaran trip.

Beautiful beautiful just beautiful!I went with mum and my 3.5 years old child. We drove from Naha to the north. The view was just stunning and easy drive (mum was the driver tho ). The resort is more like villa type. The room set up was very simple but the pools and the beach are the hit. The price was VERY reasonable. The resort has few restaurants inside ,and because there weren't many foreign tourists, we got to enjoy a bit more authentic Japanese cuisines. Definitely will go back again X

Relaxed atmosphere, spread out, private feel, family orientedI stayed here because of a need to be geographically on this peninsula, not because I was on vacation. I am also from the USA and stayed with a large group, so bear that in mind. I found the staff very polite and helpful to the extent they could in English. The grounds are sprawling, but well maintained, clean, and with very spacious and well appointed villas. The pool area was not up to resort standards of the Carribbean, but it worked well enough. The breakfast buffet (which I think is included? Depends on what you book) was generous and tasty. We only tried the restaurant near the beach, but it was pretty good, prices weren't terrible. Overall, it was a nice play to stay for a few nights, and i think for families who are local or Japanese its probably very nice as an out of the way private resort location.

Beautiful beachThe beach is very beautiful. At low tide, we found 5+ hermit crabs in less than 5 minutes. We spent several hours at Lounge Shiokaze, enjoying the ocean view and comfortable atmosphere. Since our first visit 5-6 years ago, we have stayed there several times in the last few years. In the past stay, we enjoyed a few Eco Tours, too. Hotels coin laundry helps us travel light. We used it a few times during our stay.

Excellent winter retreatWe stayed four nights including Christmas. We were very satisfied with the food (mainly Asian), the staff at all levels, the beach, Japanese sauna and the beautiful surroundings & weather in late-December. Good stable wifi, but only four TV channels (but we didn't come to watch TV). Mostly Asian clientele, but I found all interactions friendly & respectful.
