  Dinner and Drinks

  Stopped in for dinner and drinks one evening. Staff was friendly food was decent. No complaints. Establishment is well known among expats and travelers. I have stayed at the hotel before as well and that is also recommended. At the end of the day there is nothing negotiate to say.

  Comfortable, excellent value, and friendly, helpful staff

  Centrally located, the hotel is comfortable, a little worn, and a great value for visitors or long term guests. It has an excellent restaurant and bar, tennis courts, swimming pool and a very friendly and helpful staff. The bar is a good starting and ending point for a night on the town.

  Easily made friends with fellow patrons and staff.

  A great bar to start and finish at.. Apparently, could be noisy at night. Spacious room serviced everyday. 3 free pool tables. 12hr happy hour!!! 9 till 9.. Food and service good+. Just off the beach and just outside busy shopping areas. I walked everywhere. I will stay there again.

  Short break to Vung Tau

  Located 600mtrs from the DP Ferryline Port. No one on the reception when I arrived, but I was eventually checked in. Booked a so called suite, but the dirtiest suite I'd stayed in. Large damp patches on the walls, wallpaper hanging off, sofa covered in stains, kettle had grease stains on the outside. I checked a couple more rooms, but I had the best one! Requested a bedsheet to cover the sofa, so I could sit on it. The bed was comfortable, shower adequate, but wafer-thin curtains. I would have checked out, if not there for only a few nights. I did have the BF and that was reasonable, with food service fine. On check out it's cash or 3% by CC. Was told 3% `isn't much', with a short tempered response. The only reason I challenged it was that the `local' Hotel in HCM, accepted CC, without a 3% charge and it wasn't a high end Hotel neither. When I asked for assistance with my Grab App, to enter the Vung Tau port location, the staff member didn't know! but was happy to book a `local' taxi which was 4 times the price of the Grab Taxi. When I questioned the taxi price, the member of staff lost their temper, said it was `cheap' and started shouting in Vietnamese. It seemed the member of staff was under stress, with their workload. However that's not the customers fault and neither the service assistance I expect from a first time (but well travelled) visitor to Vung Tau.

  Quiet location

  Convenient location in the Front beach area. Short walk from where the GreenlinesDP ferry docked. I stayed in a Studio room, large, good aircon, pedestal fan, fridge and TV worked well, closet and a long bench with chair. The hard mattress though did no favours for my back. Laundry is complimentary. The bathroom was also large with hot water and good pressure. The restaurant has an extensive menu and a fully stocked bar. I took most of my meals here. Reception booked van service for me to the airport. This was my third time staying here. It is my preferred place to stay when I visit Vung Tau.
