  Stay Off The Mapp

  We stayed at Off the Mapp with our 2 children aged 4 months and 2 years. It has been on our bucket list for a long time. We choose to splurge and stayed at the lovingly restored Cobb Quarters. The cottage is set in beautiful scenery with breathtaking views wherever you look. I would recommend Cobb Quarters especially to couples or honeymooners as it is very romantic. Especially the outdoor bath tubs are best enjoyed under the stars with a glass of wine. However, we didnt feel as relaxed as I was hoping for. The property is not so suitable for a toddler. I couldnt keep my eyes off him or just let him room around..it was quiet dangerous as the cottage is set over the river with sheer drops. There are some boulders but they are easily climbed by a toddler. All in all it was a lovely break for us, Jenny and her husband are great hosts and made us feel comfortable. Our son loved the horses and sheep:-) When it comes to value Im not sure if the heavy price tag is justified. It is very charming but very basic accommodation. We would definitely recommend it as a romantic break away for couples. Even if the weather is not so good the cottage is very cozy with the open fireplace.

  Picturesque and Tranquil place to stay

  Very quiet, peaceful and tranquil place to stay. Great walks through Native bush and a lot of wildlife to see. If you're after peace and quiet and a look at NZ's real farming country with all the beauty this is a must to see. Not to far up the road from Blenheim Marlborough. Out door heated baths were an extra bonus. The hosts Jenny and Murray are very accommodation and go out of their way to assist you with a comfortable and informative stay

  Awesome Christmas in the nature

  Cob quarters is a unique place!! Jenny and family are awesome hosts, tremendous nature, a super special accomodation with outside shower and hot tubs right next to the river. Highly recommended to nature lovers!! :D

  great, peacefull, off the grid place

  A great place to get away from it all. Very nice place off the grid with a beautiful stream nearby for the kids to play in and a hot outdoor shower, which was amazing! Truly a place to enjoy nature or relax.

  Magical Mountain Memory Escape

  This is an unbelievable place to stay!! Cob Cottage is truly beautiful, it was so warm and cosy. Listening to the river, looking at the sky dripping with stars. The outside hot shower and baths were next level!! and Jenny and Murray were the most amazing hosts, so kind and so friendly and filled with stories. This has to be my favourite place to stay ever so far. We will definitely be back soon.
