  Great Apartment & Stunning View

  This was a real find. The apartment is just as you enter the small town of Pomena, less than a minute to the path to the lakes five minutes to the small lake, 10-15 to the bridge and large lake. The bedroom was a nice size, and theres a small living area with table and chairs and a sofa. Not sure youd ever need to cook in the kitchen, with all the restaurants around, but it had everything youd need if you wanted to. Theres also a balcony with stunning views out over the harbour. Its certainly not a noisy town, but you are well away from the main dock and any party boats, as well as the main hotel in town, which can be pretty busy. The staff/family are amazing and couldnt do enough for us: local info, restaurant tips, and theyll even do some laundry for a small charge. Theres a private parking space too. Bear in mind, its cash only. Would highly recommend for a stay in Pomena, and even if you dont stay here, much better to stay in Pomena than Polace for your park visit.

  Peaceful stay

  Apartments Slavica was a great stay in the heart of Pomena. The apartment had a balcony with a sea view. It was clean and spacious, The owner was friendly. The grocery store next to the apartment was closed in April, but he would drive us to the nearest store in a nearby town if we wanted. The apartment was a short walk from the ferry and a short walk to the small lake (with another short walk to the large lake - we walked around both and visited the monetary on the island in about 5-6 hours). It was close to the 3-4 restaurants open in Pomena at that time of year. The owner did not accept card payment, but there was an atm at the nearby hotel. We enjoyed our peaceful time on the island.

  Island Mljet

  Holiday House Slavica is perfect place for vacation. Nice apartements, friendly family runing business. If you ask you can get perfect home made lunch or dinner. Close to the beach, restaurants, bars. There is nearby also small shop where you get everything you need. I recomend stay in Slavica if you are in Pomena

  Spotlessly clean, great location, amazing views

  I would highly recommend the Slavica apartments. They are located in the centre of Pomena village overlooking the picturesque harbour. There are many nice restaurants nearby and the apartments have basic cooking facilities if you would prefer. The family running this establishment are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean and comfortable.

  Perfect stay

  This apartment was booked for four adults last minute - that is almost 2 hours before arrival. The host Maria greeted us warmly on arrival and helped us settle into our accomodation. Marias father Anton was also personable and found us the ferry port, giving us the items we had left behind at the hotel. What a kind person! We had a ground floor level, 2 bedroom apartment which was a very high standard, modern, clean and self contained, including ample space for four men and a female. The bathroom was clean and accessories were provided. A private balcony from the double room provided a sea view. There was a sea smell to the apartment, so we slept with the doors and windows open which provided a refreshing nights sleep. The ferry, cafe, market, rental bikes/cars and entrance to Mljet National Park is at your front door. National Park entry is 150 Kuna, Hotel Slavica is located right next to the small and big lake. The restaurants are in abundance and reasonably priced. We booked for one night 3.9.19 on our independent Croatia Island hopping tour and this accommodation was a highlight in our experience. It is a 1 minute walk from Pomena Port, entrance to Mljet National Park and restaurants by the sea are at your doorstep! We were 4 adults, one female and two male, staying in a two bedroom apartment. The space is adequate for a short or long stay. Its fully self contained, modern, excellent bathroom facilities and lovely to sit on the verandah and look out to the sea. The hosts Maria and father Anton are kind and helpful people who live below the accomodation.
