  friendly, clean, spacious

  The reception and the service personnel are friendly and helpful. Odalys is well situated near the beach. Of course, it is on the "Island of leisure" which means the amusement par and nightclubs run full blast late into the night. So if you don't plan on partaking in those activities and generating decibels yourself, if you do plan on sleeping before midnight, then perhaps you should go in off season before the activity peaks. We did go off season and enjoyed it very much.

  Renovation needed!

  Although we've been here before 5 years ago, there hasn't changed anything... We were quite happy back then, but if you see the state of some of the smaller pools and some of the rooms, you might think otherwise now. Bugs all over the place, with holes and lots of opportunities for the insects to get inside the room. There was no airco or even a fan in the room, even though it was pretty hot outside. So all in all too hot to sleep. The small kitchen is ok and the bed (even if it's not very big) is quite alright. But if you stay here in top season, it's really not worth the price you pay for it. The big pool is nice and clean and the grounds are beautiful with loads of trees, plants and flowers, so no complaining there. The "restaurant" is ok, with normal menus and a good price/quality balance. It has a good supermarket, with bread every morning and all the things you might need on a holiday. Location is great since you're only a 15 minute walk from the town centre of Cap D'agde and a 10 minute walk from the beach. If you're staying here in May/June or the beginning of July, you might find it ok for the price you're paying. But the rest of the summerseason it is just too expensive. If they want to keep up, they will have to invest...

  Okay, just industrial and not near amenities

  We spent a couple nights in Sete and booked this apartment. We were 2 adults and 2 children and this accommodation did have enough room, but lacked in so many ways. They are obviously accustomed to families in and out for extended stays. There service is lacking. We did have a fairly nice view which made a big difference. If I were going to Sete again, I think I would keep looking at other options.

  Reservamos por booking.La limpieza ok, atención en recepción bien excepto por que el último día nos hicieron llevarles las sábanas y toallas. En ningún aparthotel, hotel o similar me han hecho hacerlo. No hay aire acondicionado y al abrir las ventanas entran muchos mosquitos. El sitio en general correcto.

  A trip down memory lane

  Ok, so Im writing this a year late, and actually it was August I went in 2018 not September but I couldnt write back that far. So this review is almost certainly skewed because this was my childhood holiday resort and as a result holds the most wonderful memories. Prior to this visit I had probably spent an accumulative 6 months there over the years. Now however was the return trip with my own wife and children. An added bonus was that my brother and parents both also came as a nostalgic surprise. I love this place. I love the pool, the smells, the shops, the layout, the closeness to the beach, the apartments and I love the fact the reception is the same too! I could live here but there is a big but. However much I love the apartments they do need a bit more of a refresh but most importantly, they really need to much much cooler. I couldnt get the air thing to work at all as was so old which meant that one had to be almost still when inside and had to keep blinds drawn during the day. Sort out the air conditioning urgently and Ill be back every year. Deal?! Ps I still love you, Saint Loup x
