Great place
We had the apartment that sleeps 5 and it worked well for the two weeks we stayed there. There is a decent bar just over the street, a boulangerie for fresh bread and a convenience store that sells pretty much everything you want if you are self catering. There is a 50 meter walk, a few steps and then its escalators most of the way down to the big cable car lift that takes you up to the ski slopes. If you rent from sport 2000 you can leave your skis and poles there overnight. Free covered parking underneath. Leisure centre free entry in with the ski pass if you go in before 1800. You must wear tight trunks, not shorts for swimming. Better acces to ski slopes from Vaujany than from Alpe D'Huez. ;-)

Good location
My expectations of where we were going that put me down, probably. We were a group of 8 persons having booked 4 rooms. Only one couple got a room with a bedroom and the rest of us got tiny studios. As we stayed for a week, we found the room to be too small. You also had to pay extra to get towels. When we arrived, there were no soap, cleaning material, toilet paper so we had to go shopping early in the morning. We were there first week of January 2015 and fortunately, it was quite warm considering the season, but I would expect the studios to be pretty cold if there were normal winter also considering only blankets to cover during night. Though it all sounds bad it was not. Location was perfect. Short walk downhill to the lifts, 2 restaurants just outside the door, so our stay was not too bad. Knowing and understanding French is a great benefit, as the receptionist barley knew English.
