  lovely hotel but missed the beach

  We have recently returned from a week at Oceanis Park Hotel and there is not much I can say what hasn't been said about it. The staff are all helpful and very pleasant, we found the food very nice and a good variation. We were gutted we missed the Greek night as we arrived late on Tuesday and left before dinner the following Tuesday. Many have said the drinks are watered but I doubt this although they are not very strong but this suited me. It is not often at a 4 star hotel we have had to get our own drinks and not had tea/coffee re filled in room but we didnt find this a problem and we asked at reception for more tea and coffee and it was in our room within a couple of hours. I didn't however have a problem wit the toiletries in the room as these looked as though they had been used previously so it was a good job I took my own as again these were not replenished and for a four star we feel it is not acceptable. We also usually have table service on an evening but there was none here which was a shame however not too much of a problem to get up. I enjoyed the pool although could get a little noisy with music coming from the snack bar and the entertainment. There was never a problem getting a sunbed if you didnt mind where you went but you do always get some who have to have the same place every day. One point I would like to say is that the locks on the toilets and shower rooms downstairs in the bar area do not lock and we think this needs addressing sooner rather than later. We had a room overlooking the main pool which was lovely as got the sun later in the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable and it was reasonably quiet. I would recommend this hotel providing you don't mind doing some things for yourselves and do not want pampering.

  Service level 3 stars

  The level of service was 3 star hotel. We had to ask to change towels each time and it has changed 3 times for the staying of 14 nights! The bed sheet has changed only one time. The quality of food was not for 4 star hotel.

  Late summer holiday

  Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 10 nights at the end of September into October and both enjoyed our stay at Oceanis Park. The hotel is thoroughly cleaned and our room was freshened up every morning. We had a lovely large room overlooking the path leading to the pool and restaurant. Despite arriving before our room was ready we were allowed to leave our bags and go get lunch which was ideal after the long morning. The staff are all friendly at this hotel and work hard around the clock. The different themed nights in the restaurant were enjoyable and if you were to stay for just a week, the food wouldnt be found repetitive like many other all inclusive resorts; Greek night was by far our favourite. The hotel is ideally located between the airport and Rhodes Town and we caught the bus into the town on a couple of occasions. The buses are fairly regular and the stop is just at the front of the hotel so is easily accessible. At a cost of under 5 for a return it is also cheaper than a taxi. Our only criticism of the hotel is that you arent particularly informed of certain features around the hotel, this is just a small qualm and would be solved by a few signs. The hotel offers complimentary gym towels if using the gym but this isnt displayed anywhere. The ping pong table requires a 5 deposit in order to retrieve the bats from reception and again, although this is no issue, there is no sign to inform you of this. I would recommend getting out the hotel and enjoying the island, we did a day trip to Symi island which we would highly recommend. Overall an enjoyable stay and I wouldnt hesitate recommending others this hotel if they were visiting Rhodes.

  Exellent

  I would like to stay that this hotel is very good , friendly and clean. I want to thank all the hard workers in the hotel. Also the manager of the restaurant does his job really good and is very friendly. The food was delicious!! We will be back...

  Lovely hotel but no beach

  We had a lovely stay here, great location to get anywhere. Staff were very friendly, super clean hotel -downside to that, hoovering outside your room at 8am. Entertainment every night but very, very loud -no early nights here. Wide range of food in main resturant but the snack cafe's were very limited usually cake/slice of pizza and some fruit. It would have been nice to dress up one evening for dinner as there is only 1 resturant and very informal. We asked about the beach which was a short walk up the road but only had 6 sunbeds which had seen better days and a very narrow strip of stony beach -for us it didn't matter but if you are a beach lover you may be disappointed
