  Amazing experience

  Our stay at Oceana Beach Resort was absolutely magical. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The couples massage was one of the highlights of our stay as the masseur gave us an amazing couples massage. The cuisine is absolutely delectable and the rooms were made for luxurious comfort. Waking up to sound and beautiful view of the ocean while laying in bed was breath taking. Our anniversary was made extra special with our stay at Oceana Beach Resort and we will definitely be booking another weekend away soon.

  Anniversary weekend at Oceana

  This was a surprise weekend away for my wife, Rashika, at Oceana. All the staff played along nicely until the suite keys were handed to Rashika when we were served dessert, during lunch on the day of our arrival. Our suite was well appointed, neat, spacious and had all the extra comforts to enjoy. The views from our suite and the lodge were breathtaking and stunning. The meals were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the activities, like the game drive, trip to the beach, lunch on the beach deck and the couples massage. Everything at Oceana is 5 star and we had a great weekend. Thank you Oceana. We will be back. Binesh Bharat, King Williams Town, EC

  Best experience at Oceana Beach Resort and Wildlife Reserve

  We had an awesome experience at the Oceana! The facilities are amazing and staff service is excellent! The private beach was the best for us. I am definitely going back with friend and family! Big Thank You to the staff, especially Mr Thabo, Mr Larry and Mr Bonakele for making our stay comfortable.

  Amazing unforgettable experience

  I surprised my husband for a get away for our 20th wedding anniversary. From the of my enquiry until check out everything was perfect. The establishment , the service , the food , the personnel everything was so much more than my expectations. Thank you team we will be back for a longer stay next time.

  Disappointing - cleanliness standards

  We stayed  at Oceana in February 2021, and were excited about our visit given the many positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, our experience fell sourly short of expectations ( and was  disappointing to say the least). Pros: - Skilled & passionate game drive host - Private beach - Staff: friendly, and genuinely did try their best  Cons: - Cleanliness!!! By far the most disappointing aspect of our experience, especially given Covid. Rubbish from previous guests was still in the unit, dishes were dirty, living room was filled with dust, dirt & insects, dishes at the restaurant were dirty.... the list goes on. - Staff training: for a 5* resort, training was subpar - from overall presentation, to service standards - Food & Wine list: house wine was undrinkable and the entire list needs a revamp.  Food was mediocre (though breakfast was nice). With so many beautiful getaways in South Africa, we would not hurry back here anytime soon. This is disappointing as the location really could be something spectacular.
