  Gorgeous place excellent staff

  My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary here and it has been one of the top 3 we've been to. I travelled a lot, been to more than 30 countries in countless hotels and accomodations and yet this is super cute, cozy. The best thing about this place is the location and excellent staff. All the people here are so kind and ready to assist. I personally appreciate Frankie at the restaurant and Jaime at the lobby for their hospitality. They made our stay very relaxing and special.

  Valentine's weekend

  My husband and I stayed here over Valentine's weekend. Service from the moment we walked in was impeccable. We were offered champagne, an Immunity Booster drink and a seat by the pool until they were ready to check us in. My husband read on Priceline that all rooms had bathtubs, which is not the case. One of my favorite parts of our hotel stays is being able to take a bath, so when he noticed our room only had a stand alone shower, he wanted to switch rooms. We don't like to complain about anything and are pretty easy going, so I didn't want to bother the staff about switching rooms, it's not their fault that we didn't select the right room. My husband went back to the front desk anyway and asked if there was any way we could switch rooms and he would pay the price difference. Being Valentine's weekend, there were not many options left. They had an ADA room available that had a tub, just not a deep soaking tub like the other suites. We figured something was better than nothing and took the room. The suite was amazing!! We loved the extra living room area and watched a movie out there on Netflix. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and spacious. I'm not sure if there was a large price difference or not, but we were not charged for switching the room, which was a very pleasant surprise. If we had to nitpick about certain things, it would be that there is no ironing board or iron in the large closet that is in the room. I called the front desk and they brought them up almost immediately. The rooms also don't have a coffee maker in them, so if you want coffee you can order it downstairs. We ended up getting room service in the morning and they forgot my egg and cream and sugar for my coffee. Again, we hate to complain, but the price for a continental breakfast was a little steep so I called down there and asked if they could bring the items up that were inadvertently left out, which was delivered within minutes. Things happen, but the staff was so polite and quick to remedy the situation that we did not mind the extremely minor inconveniences. We will definitely come back for another staycation and would like to thank Melody and staff for such a wonderful stay.

  Wonderful Experience!

  I don't normally write reviews however I was so impressed with my stay here at the Oceana Hotel that I had to share. Before even entering the hotel I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. Upon entering the hotel you will see how aesthetically pleasing the design is and it gets better from there. The pool was amazing to lay by during the day and the sunset terrance was the perfect place for a drink in the evening. The suite was equally as pleasing and very spacious. While the hotel was beautiful (and had amazing food) I was exceptionally impressed by the staff. While everyone was so helpful and accommodating two people really stuck out. First there was Jaime who gave us a great tour of the hotel and suite. We really appreciated him and how helpful he was throughout our entire stay. Second there was Frankie at the bar. Frankie really made our trip. He is a genius when it comes to making drinks. My boyfriend really enjoyed the different variations of old-fashions he made while I enjoyed the delicious mojitos. We both really really enjoyed the espresso martinis. Frankie was so fun and personable and I think the hotel is very lucky to have him! Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and highly recommend it!

  Simply amazing

  I have been to many hotels all over. This is a favorite. The rooms are so large and perfect. The hotel is very new and just so awesome. The bathrooms are large. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Frankie at the restaurant and Young Yoon were awesome along with everyone else! No complaints at all. One of the best ever!

  2021 Family vacation

  Really enjoyed our stay there. The staff had excellent customer service skills and great attitudes. The room was clean, comfortable, and upscale with a beautiful view of the ocean. Also the resort is located in a perfect area where you are not too far from shopping, dining, and etc. Will most definitely reserve a room for our next family visit to Santa Monica.
