Smaller bed than advertisedWe had the penthouse and the bed was advertised as a king/queen. It was really a standard. We also asked for extra towels and it seemed to be a special request. Clean, somewhat off the beaten trail. Close to cafes but for serious dining you must drive a distance.

Don't bother with this one.We booked this as a 2 night stopover on a PCH trip. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The traffic noise on Hwy 1 made it impossible to enjoy the view of the trees which blocked the view of the ocean. The view off the side of the deck was the roof of the gas station/convenience store. When we brought back dinner to have on the deck, the lock on our room door didn't work. They worked on it for about 1/2 hour, while we stood in the hallway and dinner got cold. The microwave quit working. There is no elevator, so our room was a 3rd floor walkup. We are in our 60s, and in reasonably good shape, but come on. This place was bad enough we checked out after the 1st night. We stayed in a total of 5 places on our 2 week trip, and the other 4 were super. Too many other places from which to choose to bother with this. And this place is 359 per ight??????

Not worth the money! We booked this hotel for one Saturday night. The location is okay right next to a gas station. The room looks nice online but in actuality the bed was as hard as a rock. It was very noisy also. The service was nonexistent. We had to request the WiFi code and time of breakfast. The city lost power for some time no one bothered to check on us or provide us with updates. We had to research through PG&E ourselves. The "breakfast" consisted of store bought packaged pastries and bread to make toast. No fresh fruit or other options. We slept so terribly we checked out at 8 am. No one asked us about our stay or thanked us for staying. Probably one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.
