  Handy Broadbeach location

  We had a room on 11th floor overlooking the pool. It had a walk through wardrobe with enough storage. bathroom compact but it had the bath we requested. Separate laundry room. Nice outdoor pool which was cold and lovely indoor pool which was very hot. Both ok for me but not Hubby. Our air conditioning didnt work very well.Short block to the beach and a stroll to all the Broadbeach shops & restaurants.

  Great view but nothing else

  Well its a truly beautiful view, and I guess the couch was comfortable. But apart from that: Reception was not open for a 2pm Saturday check in. Our room was still being cleaned so we could not go in and had to take our bags back to the basement. Old, dirty. One shower did not work. The shower head was broken. In the other shower the hot and cold taps had been swapped. There were no face washers. There was shampoo but no conditioner. No blankets on beds and the ones in the cupboard were dusty. The next door unit contained a continual smoker. We couldnt keep our windows open and the foyer stank unbearably. And you are forced to take out your own rubbish at the end of your stay but the garbage room is as far from reception as you can get. Reception were unavailable and unhelpful.

  Great experience!

  Had an awesome time at this resort! We spent most of our time at the pool and beach due to the great vibe! They have entertainment hosts who make it such a fun experience! Rodrigo and Arturo did a great job at hosting volleyball games during the day and nightly events! Def would stay here again!

  Comfortable and amazing~

  We were a family from Brisbane staying five days this week. Helpful reception staff, great ocean views, well looked after building and the unit.The full holiday package. Have already booked the unit again fro xmas stay! Thanks for Ocean Royale, just amazing!

  Xmas getaway

  I had saved all year to take my family here for xmas ! We had booked the penthouse costing $3200 for 5 nights. We booked in Xmas eve and left Tuesday morning ! I paid for the penthouse to get 3 bedrooms and our own dunk pool. When we arrived the pool area had broken glass we had to clean up , the pool had stuff on the bottom and was dirty and slimy. Due to xmas, pool cleaner didnt come until Monday and we were advised not to use pool until Monday afternoon although reception blamed a storm the week before but cleaner found rusty bottle caps on floor of pool so hadnt been cleaned since last stay! Xmas morning went to cook breakfast but had to wash up all pans and dishes we wanted to use as stained with dirty food. Iron threw the power and no lights in main bedroom. I understand Xmas holidays would make it hard but if room was cleaned and checked properly before we moved in this would have been found. I did approach resort to give them opportunity to reimburse me but have not heard a response . It was a hard year and i saved hard for this family holiday and feel like i didnt get my moneys worth . It was very disappointing and i will not be recommending this place to any of friends or business associates!!
