  I gave 1 star because of the price difference. Do you ou research!

  Fyi check airbnb and then check the hotel websites there is a huge difference in if you are booking the one by Ocean Lodge by KEES Travel. There is no sense in over paying for something when you can save a little as at this time I know a lot of people are out of work!

  Nice Visit

  Stayed here for three nights during mid-week and enjoyed our visit. We wanted to stay somewhere with a kitchen and this is a great option. Don't expect to see a great water view unless you stay in the penthouse or unit 401. The other units have other condo's that block the view of the water. The overall location is good, about 1/2 mile from the small town center, too far to walk for us in the summer, but a quick drive. Really enjoyed the balcony in the mornings, but of course later in the day, became too hot to enjoy.

  What a Complete Waste ........

  My wife and I came to Ocean Lodge in 2017 and we really enjoyed the entire facility, employees and attention to detail. On our first night here I inquired if there was new Management / Owners......of course. It was that apparent when we walked in the Penthouse Suite / 501. I am including pictures of our dry rot curtains, damaged door and lighting out in the kitchen. I really feel this place has had NO updating since our last visit. Guest should not have to pay the nightly rates with this kind of offering. The one dinner visit to the Rooftop Bar & Restaurant on the first night cemented my sinking feeling. High marks for the staff; for the most part. Called front desk on morning of 3rd day to asked for towels and shampoo as I had a business meeting in early afternoon. Spoke to Birdy at front desk via phone. Hour and 1/2 later I had to go down and meet Birdy in person and was told house keeping does not come in till 10 a.m. So why did you know offer that information to me when I called at 9 a.m. Better yet; why did you know run the request up to the room or ask if I would like to come down and pick up. Dah! Thank to Mica for your help and checking in with me our entire stay. Mica should work the front desk. Finally, the information displayed on TA reflects photos of a pool and list that in hotel information. That is not correct and should be removed from TA. 3 years ago on our visit there was a pool; now it has been filled in and just a deck area on the 4th floor. I have included pictures of present condition; no pool. During our first visit there was breakfast served on lobby floor; now it is closed and no offerings of sit down breakfast. I really could go on longer; but I will leave it alone. As a business person I simply asked how an owner / investor can spend this kind of money on a wonderful location and upscale clients to let it get in this condition.

  Can't wait to return!

  We loved our stay at Ocean Lodge! The room we originally booked (penthouse) needed repairs when we visited, so we had to stay in another room, but the Ocean Lodge staff went above and beyond to make up for that. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne, as well as rose petals leading to the bedroom. They also treated us to a dinner at the Rooftop, which was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the calamari. The drinks and service were great as well. The staff at the front desk checked in on us, and quickly brought us anything we needed. It was a quick, easy walk to the beach and a short bike/walk to many restaurants and shops. We can't wait to come back!

  Another Stellar Stay at Ocean Lodge

  During the Pandemic I have managed 3 Covid Cootie Free stays at this lovely grand dame of hotels. You have a full suite, kitchen, living room, master bedroom w/ attached bath and an additional 3/4 bath. Best feature an Amazing covered balcony overlooking the beach. I recently stayed for a week. I chose to have house keeping only once as I'm a smidge hinky about Covid. As usual my stay was wonderful, the staff was awesome and the room service was great. I love this hote! You will not find anywhere nicer, quieter and more charming on the island.
