  Was ok to stay at for 4 nights but the shower drain kept clogging up, they only left 2 toilet rolls for 5 days and no rubbish bags. They also left 2 shampoos, no conditioner in sight. Enjoyed the pool and spa otherwise very average.

  Great sea view, and quiet location

  The units in Ocean Boulevard are all single bedroom, so the proprietors target couples predominantly, so every one has a quiet and enjoyable stay. The view from the roof is magnificent, but you have your own view from the balcony. Useful tip: the balconies get smaller the further back your unit, so larger ones are nearer the front. The pool is round the back, so nice and quiet and away from the eyes of passers by, and it has a spa. There is a walkway/promenade along the beach from Mooloolaba to Maroochydore, so plenty of scope for walks. If you're a serious walker, the hinterland is only a short drive and the hosts (Charli and Daniel) will happily advise where is best to go. Also very handy for the shopper with it taking less than 5 minutes drive to the Sunshine Plaza, and when you get back you can park your car underground out of the blaring sun, and get a lift up to your floor direct from the basement. Restaurants nearby are plentiful. I can recommend Sangs (100m to your left from the property) for Asian food, and the French patisserie two doors down for coffee and croissants! If you need a rest the double-glazing shields out the road noise, and then the Foxtel channels keep you entertained. The Alex surf club is also just 100m down the road on the beachfront. I loved being so close to the beach, at quite a reasonable price too!

  Small, but only a few minutes to the beach

  We stayed here with our two little kids. The space is small, but a good base for staying in Alex Heads and close to the beach and Surfclub (with playground and skatepark). Also a lot of eateries around,. For proper grocery shopping you will need to take the car or walk about 20mins to Maroochydore. The one bedroom apartment had a sofa bed in the lounge room, which (when set up) takes up all the room :-). If the weather is nice and warm, you can have meals on the balcony - otherwise there is no dining table in the rooms (not enough space). What was a bit disappointing during our stay is that lot of facilities were unavailable, like pool/spa area and the option to hire DVD's - all supposedly because of COVID-19. We would consider staying here again though.

  Nice views & close to beach

  We booked a mini break weekend here & were pleasantly surprised. Easy check in after hours but have the phone number handy! The manager will give you a code for the safe to collect keys. Pros: All the balconies have a nice beach view. Great Indian restaurant next door. Nice pool n spa...n BBQ by pool. Unit had everything you need aka appliances etc...but only minimal tea coffee etc so you need to buy more if you need it. Close to beach n everything like surf clubs n shops. Lots of great cafes nearby. Lovely ponds n gardens behind the complex. Good shower pressure & has dryer n Washer. Cons: Very hard bed..very cheap mattress woukd bring my own soft topper if staying again! Stinky sulphur smells in lift & underground carpark (Manager informed that there is sulphur in bedrock..nothing that can be done but just to be aware of) some traffic noise with balcony door open but can't hear it with door closed. Conclusion..with a bed topper to make bed more comfy..I would stay here as a couple again..they also offer 10% discount for return visitors. Quite a pleasant place n nice managers for a beach mini break.

  Comfortable Apartment

  We stayed in the deluxe apartment at the front of the building. A very comfortable apartment with just enough space for a couple and a baby. Decor is looking a little dated and little things didn't work or were missing. Plenty of undercover parking and pool is great, if not a little exposed.
