  Very childFriendly

  Big chalet type hotel rooms large comfortably furnished with good bathrooms and large balcony. Meals high standard mixture of buffet and table service. Cater well for children with early dinner from 6.30pm also have kids clubs and petting zoo loads of kids staying all seemed pretty happy and staff good at looking after them all. Really focussed on family market so probably not the place if you want quiet adult retreat. Nice pool not huge and limited spa but all very well maintained Just across road from chair up the mountain so well located they have own ski hire place which has hardly any kit left so not sure the deal with ski hire as good as sounds had to go down road for some decent kit. Last year chap in shop didnt appear that knowledgeable about skis and set up so went down the road to intersport who seemed switched on. Nice bar and public areas staff friendly and helpful. Corridors are a bit noisy as basically tiled concrete with carpet down the middle so kids running around slamming doors can be annoying. Village itself nothing much to write home about but ski area is sizeable lot of 6-8 man chairs some heated bottle necks at busy times at main interchanges. Skiing not very challenging lots of wide open well manicured pistes so good to learn on but are some idiots skiing too fast out of control. So not a place for good skiers. In summer imagine its pleasant easy walking a hour or so train ride from Salzburg. Easy to get to by car as not far off main route.

  An Hotel which has good memories

  The hotel in St.Johann im Pongau has alocation with unforgettable views of Austrian scenery. The hotel has two swimming pools gym garden and a terrace with wonderful views. The public rooms and bedrooms furnished to a high standard and serviced every day. The food is very good and they will if you are unable to choose from menu they will offer alternative. The staff give excellent service and are very helpful.Care needs to be taken when using shower over bath because of no hand rails but shower mat provided when requested.

  Wonderful stay in spite of the variable weather .

  A clean hotel with lots to offer . An amazingly friendly staff wit special mention for the reception and restaurant staff. Lots to do around, we were with our 9 years old who loved the bow hunting as well as an amazing Rafting initiation. Beautiful area. We highly recommend.

  Excellent for business

  We were a group of about 30 wo stayed for four nights for a conference. The facilities are excellent and the staff is very service minded. Some of us were upgraded to suites - mine was superb, with its own jacuzzi, sauna, huge balcony and ample living room. Breakfast buffet is very good, and dinner is served with local specialities. Highly recommended

  Hello We spent 5 nights in this magical hotel What to say, the staff is very nice and smiling, always pro active The room just a dream, the manager of the hotel present and listening and very nice the location and very good, good pool, a little too crowded during the day otherwise pleasant. the garden is superb Nothing to say I strongly recommend this hotel and I can't wait to return Great job keep going AM
