  Home-like atmosphere

  This hotel is very special - you shouldn't look for a high-class service of a european standart there. For exmple, the cleaning of rooms implied, in our case, just the changing of towels, the carpet was constantly dirty... The territory of the hotel is very clean and lovely though. In this hotel we felt being more like guests of our good friends, rather than a hotel's guests - the owner is quite friendly and helpful, as well as other members of staff. We also liked to have breakfastes on the beautiful terrace, appreciated very convenient location right in the city centre, the balcony overlooking the sea and mountains.

  Not sure what to say

  When I choose the hotel I read the reviews about and somehow was prepare. Even if this hotel has a big potential such as great location, very close to old Town and riviera it still needs some adjustments. The rooms are not very clean. The breakfast maybe is ok, but I saw that butter was expired so ate just bread and vegetables to be sure. A strange smell near restaurant. The staff seemd bored. It is ok for Max 2 night. Hope necessary changes will be done, it can be a good hotel, but at this stage I can rate it only for 2 stars. Also they tried to make me overpay for the stay....not very nice. We solved it at the end.

  A heartwarming place amid concrete and steel

  If you think a former Yugoslavian country like Montenegro is a place of untouched coastlines and old-fashioned chocolate-box cities - well, you haven't been to Budva then. Since a few years, the city undergoes a massive real estate boom, resulting in mostly ugly designed shopping centers, huge housing blocks and hotels. Accompanied by loads of billboards among the road advertising new building projects and great opportunities to buy a mini hotel or condo, for prices (as we were told) from 2.500 - 3.000 per square meter. Thank good we were just looking for a place for one night on our travel back from Greece - and luckily we found the Oaza Hotel. You can take that literally, as the old building almost vanishes in view to the two brand new 15-stories towers in the neighbourhood. The owner who runs this family business in 3rd generation is very nice & pleasant guy (who also speaks English and German), and gave us with a large double room with balcony for 55 incl. breakfast. Also, he helped with parking the car safely, and gave us some tips where to spent the evening. Good thing is the Oaza is located next to the old town of Budva and the marina. So you have a great choice of restaurants right at your doorstep to enjoy seafood or traditional meat dishes, whatever you fancy. We both slept well in the large bed, and enjoyed the breakfast buffet presenting a large variety of salamis, saussages, ham & eggs, local cheese, tomatoes, fruits, juices and a good coffee. A perfect start to continue our journey along the adriatic coastroad, and to survive the reckless drivers who prefer to overtake in the weirdest situations. But that's another story ;-) So if you ever come to Budva, give the Oaza a chance, support a family business and enjoy the hospitality of the most sympatico owner!

  Great location

  I would say the best location in Budva, besides town, beach and amenities. Room are comfortable and properly climatized but need to improve the WiFi signal and pay attention on the no smoking rooms. Nice breakfast and free parking, something critical in Budva

  Overall nice!

  As this is not high season yet, the receptionist offered me perhaps the best room with a balcony, on the fourth floor. For this low price I paid, it was smashing:) In fairness, the hotel needs cleaning up and the bathroom would certainly need renovating.
