Friendly StaffOur group were large and we have to compliment the staff and the chef on the food provided. It was tasty and one evening they were willing to wait up for our kids till 1 in the morning. The rooms are well enough for a three star, but needs a little bit of maintenance. Overall a good place to stay if you're not that particular about luxury.

Awesome timeThe service and rooms provide you with a home away from home experience. the food is good and there is variety to choose from. the place is also quiet giving you piece of mind giving you time to relax and unwind. the place is just by the main road not hidden from the road.

Very BasicMy view of the motel is somewhat clouded by the fact that I had to move to a second room as the locking system on the sliding doors isn't working too well. The first room I was in the sliding door lock was broken and so was the door chain they had put there. The third locking option was a bolt and that got stuck - the spring obviously was faulty. I had to use my Leatherman to unscrew the lock in order to be able to get out as the maintenance man couldn't do anything to help get me out. The second room they put me in the door locked from the inside and the chain worked but when going out during the day the lock sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. My solution was just not to keep anything of value. Botswana is not particularly bad for crime so I felt ok at night to put the chain on. Not a great system for a person traveling on their own. There were rooms with proper doors so this problem isn't there for all rooms. Breakfast was good and the service was ok. It wasn't the cleanest place I have ever stayed - bath room was a bit moldy smelling and you can see there were other fixtures in the bathroom as there were quite a lot of holes in the wall that were never sealed. The cement around the place is cracked and could do with some work. The bar lacks any sort of atmosphere - really just a place to get a drink. Pool was quite a dark green. I wouldn't recommend them and I won't stay there again. I think there is a real lack of attention to detail but as I said staff were very nice.

AverageAt the beginning of my stay I was put in a single room at the far side of the motel next to the road - those rooms are NOT up to standard. Do yourself a favor and do not book those rooms if you expect to have good night sleep. The lock were broken and I was itching just trying to fall asleep, it seems that those rooms are definitely lower class. They moved me 1st evening to a room next to the first, but not, still not up to standard. After the first evening they moved me inside the premises, thank goodness. Otherwise I would have left myself. Rooms inside the premises are ok, especially number 103 near the swimming pool, at the back entrance near the gate. The cleaning staff and restaurant staff are friendly and competent.

not all changes are goodHadn't stayed there for a long time so first impression was the place is nicely revamped, looks more shiny and clean at reception etc but then the bad surprise is that the nice mirrors restaurant has been replaced by something resembling a cheap fast food Indian style restaurant. there is no decoration, a localised buffet, hardly anybody eating there and all looks cheap and plastic. The staff however was very friendly and helpful. After dinner we went back via the overflowing rubbish bins standing at the entrance to the rooms and the take-away left-overs lying on the only seat in the corridor,. Not to mention the missing towels, the broken off cupboard handles ..., all in all, don't see a reason to visit again
