  Got a dishwasher, but no bottle opener!

  The furnished studio is beautiful and well done in minimalist style - has a washing machine, fridge, oven, stove, crockery and a fricking dishwasher! But doesn't have some basics like salt/ pepper. Understand the apartment isn't meant to serve food but salt pepper flakes sugar coffee - all this is nice to have! I'd even add bread biscuits and the random fruit here. Would have rated 5, had I seen all these as well. The location while close to place of work is a bit of a downer - need to walk atleast a mile to the nearest market / cafe.

  Conveniently located with some flaws

  Location: pretty close to major technology companies, mostly within walking distance or a short bus ride. However, this is not on the metro line or express bus line. Some Ubers don't want to come here either because of non-stop construction blocking traffic Cleanliness: could be improved in parts of the room. I could smell cooking from the previous resident. Also, tabletops and countertops were not that clean, but I wiped them down. However, the bed and bathroom were clean. Check-in: HORRIBLE at late hours!!!! I arrived after 11pm and notified Oakwood in advance. However, when I reached the property, there was nobody. I stood outside under adverse weather, called corporate customer service, who also had trouble reaching the staff supposed to be on duty for 15 min. I saw two other guests having the same problem. Then, the staff couldn't find my key...it took more time to sort this out...by the time I got to my room, I was dead tired. Yet, I hope this is not an issue for guests arriving during business hours. In-room facilities: great kitchenette with dishwasher and a large fridge. Also, stackable washer/dryer were available. Very convenient. Wifi was stable. Furniture: bed was comfortable. There was a lounger but no desk!!!!! This is a corporate serviced apartment, why on earth is there no desk!!!!!!!!!! For me this is a killer. I hope that management reads this review and adds a desk to rooms without it. This is an easy fix. Gym: did not have time to use it. Soundproofing: average for newly built hotels (i.e, you can hear conversations in the corridor and door banging)
