  Fabulous Team & Beaut Place

  What a great experience, from checking in to checking out & hopping in the car to the airport. Starting from Jimmy Teo, the GM personally greeting us at reception when we checked in. Being a sceptic I was wondering if this personal touch was an exception but we happily proved wrong. All the team members are so nice and made us feel so welcome, no request was a problem and the team always helped us with smiles and such a positive can do attitude. From the House Keeping team always wanting to play with our 2 year old and puppy while cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces so carefully. The patience of the engineer helping to explain the functions of the apartment appliances to us and how to use them. BTW, appliances aplenty, fully self contained and what a beaut full sized fan forced oven. Certainly gave that 1 a work out! Also the dishwasher was so handy. Another mention goes the the concierge, what legends. Our luggage included everything including the kitchen sink and smiles all the the way up at checkin and again all the way down again at check out. To make this happen across all functions I guess it is Mr Teo leading by example. He was always engaging my family at brekky, even made a little card for our son with a hand drawn cartoon and sent him some yummy biscuits. Really made us all feel so welcome and at home. Would we stay again in the Oakwood Shanghai Residence, you bet! Would we recommend it to other familys, you bet!

  A warm, cozy and comfortable place to stay.

  Jimmy, the General Manager, has been leading a very successful service team by treating their guests as family members. Wherever I was in the building, they recognize me, greeted me, chatted with me and smiled at me. It's a really warm, cozy and comfortable experience of a busy trip which makes me feel relaxed. Thanks to the driver Mr. Zhou, the room attendant, the breakfast attendant, the front deak team, the security team and Jimmy!

  Staycation

  The management team and staff are very welcoming and warm. The room is clean and the place is located well in centre of the district. Fantastic wifi speed, best I have experienced. I should not forget to mention the nice comfortable bed too!

  Great service and lovely atmosphere.

  Oakwood shanghai is a lovely serviced apartment with access to breakfast and. 24h gym. Their service is great and the atmosphere is lovely. They are cursed by an awkward location as it is central in the city, but still far to get into the parts you want to go. Would recommend staying here for business and long term.

  Awesome hotel and staff!

  I always stay at Oakwood whenever I visit Shanghai! This hotel is right on top of a shopping center so that theater and supermarket are so close by! The hotel it self is well maintained, managed by the best general manager Jimmy. Jimmy is a wonderful person who takes his guests seriously! Someone whom you can count on that will solve all your needs and works out solutions! Under Jimmys management, all other staff are awesome as well! I would love to thank Susie, made my staying so much nicer and enjoyable! Love the gym, top line TechnoGym! Comfy mattress! Will definitely come back!
