  HORRIBLE customer service on cancellation.

  Cancelled reservation within allotted time. After 3 calls from me (plus 1 unturned) AND 2 calls and an email from Booking.com, I still haven't received a refund totaling over $800 SIXTEEN days later. Although this wasn't done through Trip Advisor, I want to caution you before you book them.

  Awful Apartment!

  We stayed in a two bedroom unit for 5 nights, September 10-14, Building 11. The apartment was run down and in serious need of a renovation. Specifically, the appliances were very old, we had issues with the dishwasher, the cabinets were terribly scratched, hot water was hit or miss, mattress in master bedroom needed to be replaced, no vanity in the master bath and exposed pipes and cracks under the master bath sink. Basically, it was pretty bad. However it appeared to be clean and appliances, besides the dishwasher, appeared to be in good working condition.

  Rude staff, very run down

  As a business traveller I was booked into the Oakwood for 2 weeks. I laster 5 days. The apartments themselves are very basic and look rather run down but are mostly functional. Mostly. 2 days however in the television and Internet broke. I called the staff on site 4 times and they promised it would be fixed by 6pm, why 6? Because they go home at 6 and so you cant call them back and complain. The next thing to break was the electric lock on the front door. I could no longer lock the door from the outside and was shocked it simply let you walk straight in. I ended up having to prop the door with a chair for the night (I called the management team and they said someone would be round at you guessed it 6pm). Avoid at all costs!

  Mice Issues!!!!!

  I was a resident here for a little over 3 months. This place has pest issues. Mice are here. The place is not bad in the inside but just be careful and mindful of this. I was also told by other residents, they had issues with roaches as well. you wouldn't think this would be happening in such a great area but at Oakwood at Raleigh it is.

  Management

  Management doesn't care about the tenants. I found bedbugs in my furnitured apartment.vWhen pest control came out he stated that they were adult bedbugs which means they have been in that mattress over 6 to 12 months and I only been there 4 months. Management left the office and told her staff that she would not accomodate my issue for me and my two children. The staff told me to get out the office while I was talking to the pest control telling him they were treating me and my children likè we were animals. I asked her where would we go could she call management again she walked in the hallway and called the police and lied and Said I threathen her. I recorded her on my phone once I showed the officer that I recorded her and her statement she told them wasn't true that she was the aggressor the officer stated I needed to really look into talking to an attorney and sue them because no one should be treated this way. He also Said management told him she wasn't concerned about my apartment at all she was concerned about me harassing her staff and not leaving her office. The officer told me he never seen anything likè this but it was really smart that I recorded the whole incident. Management left the office early duë to the weather being Bad but didn't care about resolving this issue for me and my two children. Also she didn't care about treating the bedbugs and she didn't care about them spreading to the other units. This makes me feel likè she was already aware of bedbugs issues.
