  Disgusting and smelt

  NEVER encountered anything like this in my life We arrived and went into what we realised was the reception omg beyond filthy .. not to mention the junk all around and smell .. the lady came out in her bare feet and had no interest whats so every.. After seeing the rooms we told her we wouldnt be staying in them and she offered us a 2 bedroom apartment .. the place was slightly cleaner but had no heating .. we managed to find another hotel just down there road and when handing back the keys the owner didnt bat an eye lid this is telling me this is the norm Put it this way you had to wipe your feet on the way out I read that you pay for what you get SERIOUSLY you would stay in filth ??? Def would not recommend anything about this pit of a place .. you just couldnt pay me to stay there

  I booked to go for a few days away with my husband and son as my mum had just passed away and before we even went I rang to make enquires the man who owns the place was swearing when his wife was on phone then swore at me on the phone absolutely disgusting behaviour straight away I went online and cancelled our trip wouldnt recommend this place ever to anyone!!!

  Very average. Whole place needs a face-lift and air freshners. Shame as location is brilliant just off the sea front but that's all that's good I'm afraid. Had breakfast on our first morning which was OK to be fair. Nice lady that runs it but needs to get it more updated and alot cleaner.

  On my days.....

  So booked this B and B for a last minute weekend away by the sea. We pull onto a normal looking street and park up outside Oakwell which looks a bit tired from the outside but not too bad. We were greeted by a lovely old lady who appeared to run the place with her son. We entered the B and B and were confronted with the most horrendous smell, the foyer is small, cramped and dirty and Im starting to feel a bit queasy! As we were being checked in another family came in and went upstairs so I thought it must be ok, nope not at all! We went into our family room which was small but would have been adequate had it not been filthy. Cobwebs, dust, grime and oh yes, the massive man poo that had been left as a surprise for us in the toilet. Well after we flushed that bad boy away he took his revenge and blocked the loo! Needless to say we returned to the lady who was then joined by her son. They seemed to think just unblocking the offending toilet would secure our stay. After some deliberation we were shown one of the apartments, slightly cleaner by a gnats tail, but again there was an offensive surprise in the toilet but we could at least see that they had washed their hands as the towel was used and screwed up on the sink!!!!! Obviously we turned on our heel and left. The best bit of our experience was the refund, it was almost as if it had happened before as it was quick, smooth and painless. I could go on, I really could as there is so much wrong with this place how anyone has stayed here I have no idea. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere!!!!

  Not the best

  Lovely people very friendly and helpful just found the hotel old and dated bit smelly and dusty. Small rooms bad plumbing taps dripping shower with no pressure and badly fitting loo seat, no need for microwaves in rooms, breakfast either undercooked or overcooked and far too big portions must waste so much as I saw what people were leaving on there plates. close to beach and spa at end of the street all in all not the best but think Bridlington in general has had its day dirty town centre full of drunks and down and outs shouting fighting and pestering people for money all the best shops closed and the best restaurants closed too dont think we will be back again if this is a staycation you can keep it
