  Attention to detail needed

  Spent 3 nights here. The positive points were a comfortable bed, fast internet, good water pressure in shower, good size room and people in reception nice and accommodating. The downside was the grout in the bathroom needed a good clean, ironing board but not iron, a heater by the door but no power point to connect to.From the kitchen window I looked on to left over rubbish from room renovations? With a bit of effort this motel could be much improved as is in a central location.

  Charmless and damaged

  I stayed for 2 nights in September 2017. The rooms are charmless and the bathroom door badly damaged. The manager told me that the door was to be replaced and that an earlier guest's dog had done the damage. Perhaps, but it was very scruffy. The phone had a red light that wouldn't stop flashing, the cutlery was mismatched and the duty managed was in baggy track pants and a tee shirt. Overall, much lower professional standard that I expect. Won't stay again.

  Great motel in Auckland

  Great motel in a good location. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was a little firm but it didn't stop us having a good night sleep. Bus stop out front of the motel and a short walk to Remember station. A range of restaurants and cafes close by. Staff were friendly.

  Underwhelming

  Nothing to recommend this place, unfortunately, apart from its location. We booked accommodation here for one night only and were relieved to leave. The room was tiny, dark and dingy. The carpet was peeling up, there was only one functioning light in the ceiling, the sheets had numerous hairs in them (not ours!), the beds were supremely uncomfortable and we both woke up with a sore back/neck. There was an adjoining door through which we could smell strong cooking smells in the late evening.The train tracks were mere metres away from the back of the motel, as was the motorway. A high price for a very mediocre room.

  On the nose

  Stayed here for five nights. The room smelt terrible. The towels while clean were stained and shabby. People smoked outside the door , the hot water kept running out. Good location for public transport, but over priced, and ordinary. We had to wash all of our clothes to get rid of the smell. A poor option with little to redeem it
