  Pleasant stay

  The hotel is in a great location with easy access to venues to eat at, the Steakhouse Bakehouse right next door is amazing. Rooms are very clean and the beds comfy. The only downside is that we experienced a very hot humid day/night which the airconditioners could not keep up with. The second night was much cooler.

  NOT PLEASENT

  The building was very hot and only one bedroom is airconditioned, too bad for the other guests in the unit. Parking is terrible and walk a distance to reception luck it wasn't raining I would have been soaked.

  The Oaks Ipswich

  The convenient location put everything we needed within comfortable walking distance. We only had contact with the receptionist at check in, but she was pleasant and super helpful getting us set up in no time.

  Nice comfortable stay

  Very happy with room and location of hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The only problem I had was the lack of a curtain over the bed not having a block out curtain and early morning light made it hard to sleep in.

  Convenient location

  Stayed at the Oaks Ipswich Aspire Suites recently as we were visiting family who live nearby. Stayed at a 2 bedroom apartment located on the 1st floor. The apartment itself was nice and cosy with 2 bedrooms - 1 with king bed and ensuite and the other with 2 single beds. There is a main bathroom with washer, dryer and a tub. Shower pressure is amazing. Bed was very soft and comfortable and had plenty of pillows which I like. Reception was very friendly and we had an issue with our TV when we arrived. We rang Reception and they swapped out the tv fairly quickly so service was pretty great. The kitchen itself was good to use as we were there for nearly a week. Well equipped with most of the things you need except there wasn't anything left for dishwashing - we found out later these can be requested from reception but we ended up buying our own diswashing liquid, teatowels etc. So, it could probably do with some personal touches here - dishwashing liquid, teatowels, dishcloth etc. There were 2 AC units in the apartment, one in the lounge/kitchen area and the other in the main bedroom which when they are both switched on, it doesn't really get to the second bedroom. Although the second bedroom had a fan - was really stuffy and hot in the evenings. The location was excellent, was quite close to the big Riverlink shopping centre and Coles was a 2 minute drive away. There is a very big lap pool and was very nice for cooling off. There was also a games room and a gym there but we didn't end up using it. Parking was good - secure parking and allocated spots within the building itself.
