  Girls trip

  We love to come to Oak Square! The Ober over Gatlinburg is directly around the corner. Tons of restaurants just feet away! We got a duralog for our fireplace in the evening. We will definitely return.

  It Was Ok

  Our stay here was sufficient. Not stellar, not terrible but sufficient. We stayed in unit 305. The location is ok but we discovered that while close to the Parkway, most of the things we wanted to do were at the opposite end - but still totally walkable. It was nice to walk along River Rd and avoid most of the crowds. The management staff was friendly and we were never disturbed by other guests so it was pretty quiet. Our kids enjoyed both of the pools. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the unit. The bottoms of our feet and/or socks were filthy within 5 minutes of walking around in there - I mean completely black. Our socks acquired a weird yellow stain on the bottoms from the floors. Im still not sure what it is. There was a very large toenail clipping behind the master bedroom door. The unit could use some maintenance- the HVAC supply vent was hanging out of the ceiling in the master bathroom and the hot water knob in the master bathroom was broke in two and created a cut hazard if you werent careful. All in all it was an ok stay for the price but I am not 100% sure we will stay here again.

  Dont stay here. Just. Dont.

  While the location is good, thats the only positive I can say. Im not even sure where to start. We rented unit 206 for a kid free getaway. When we walked in, some of the wallpaper was peeling/ripped in several spots. The rug (originally white and teal) had turned a light brown and teal with red candy/gum smashed in a spot. It was obviously had not been vacuumed in a long time. There was black mold under the bathroom sink. They fixed it by laying a towel over it. The bedspread had dried blood in three or four spots. The spots were big enough to notice when you walked in the room. In one of the drawers underneath the bed there were two Xanax pills this is a class IV narcotic). There was also some trash in one of the other drawers underneath the bed. My husband slot on top of the covers on a corner of the bed. I slept on the couch (it was leather and I wiped it down) curled up in the fetal position. I could go one and say more about the general lack of cleaning but you get the idea. If you still want to stay here after reading this, you probably deserve whatever you find. **it is my understanding some of these condos are individually owned.**

  Well,entering the room. 2 old couches. Bunk beds in the kitchen. Holes under the sink floor. No smoke alarms. Just the base in the bedroom. Hole in the ceiling and wires exposed. Black mold in the bathroom vent. Crappy drywall repair in the bathroom outlet. Carpet ripped in front of the bathroom. Outlet doesn't work in bedroom. There's a display cabinet in the hallway not sure why. Takes up to much room. This unit needs a complete remodel. The condo is a great location. No maid service. There's no way to get in touch with the owner. Many calls and emails before we left. No answer. There is light switches that don't do anything The rooms are cheap. Not sure if it's worth it.   Convenient and nice property in the heart of Gburg

  We stayed here in July for 5 nights. We did however book our room through Orbitz because of the Condo that was pictured. With that being said this is a great property 1 block off the main road near light 9 and Ober Gatlinburg. This property is convenient and has free parking!!!!! This is a great amenity!!! There is a nice pool in the center of the property that is clean and comfortable. Our room was very well appointed and nicely decorated. (decor and price of some units depends on the owners). You can however book directly through Oak Square. Again everything on the strip is with in walking distance. Our condo had a king bed, small kitchenette, cozy living area and a breakfast nook. Condo was 550 square feet but is more than enough for a couple or a small family. The sofa turns into a bed.
