One of the best little hotels on the planet.

This gem of a hotel in Kamares on the beautiful island of Sifos is one of the lovllest little places we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, and run by the most generous and friendliest family we have ever had the pleasure to meet!! Everything is perfect with a capital P. from the cleanliness to the excellent breakfasts (try Mums little rice puddings with cinnamon) and everything in between. Its run mostly by Mosha who is a wonderful host, and her brother, who we christened Super Cool George, with his ever present 'shades' and because absolutely nothing is a problem for him, nor indeed is it for Mosha. And while the 2 of them attend to the business of running the hotel Mum bakes wonderful little puddings and cakes and potters around watering the plants etc. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had anywhere in Greece The rooms have excellent air con, fresh linen, crisp white towels and lovely little toiletries and is immaculately cleaned every day by the little Ukranian maid whos name I forget. The pool is the perfect temperature, and the loungers and shades of high quality. It is also very well located, about a ten minute stroll to the beach and restaurants and is very quiet and peaceful at night. The whole place is spick and span and the flowers/plants around the outdoor area are beautiful. I think this is the only place I have ever came across where everything is much better in real life than the pictures online suggest The family also offer a free shuttle service to and from the ferry. We went to Sifnos to renew our wedding vows and not only did Mosha book the hairdresser and taxi for us, but when we came back to our room, we couldnt believe our eyes. On the bed was a beautiful scroll with the families good wishes, and a bunch of dried lavender and on the dressing table, a tray of fruit and chocolates and a bottle of Proscecco chiiling in an ice bucket. Where in the world can you find that kind of service?? At this point I am wondering if I should be keeping one of my now favourite places in the world a secret. Thank you Mosha, George, Mum and family for the memories and for being hugely influential in the success of our vow renewal and in making this one of the most enjoyable and relaxing holidays ever. Tip for readers. Book directly with the hotel for a much better rate than with agents.

You feel like you're at home!

My family and I had a four night stay at Nymphes for a family wedding this July. We were greeted at the port, where they helped to transport us and our luggage. From then on, it was truly five star service. Upon arrival, they invited us to catch the tail-end of breakfast...which we were sure to eat every day afterwards because it was delicious! A different selection each day of baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt and a hot egg dish. There were freshly made juices and a very sweet woman who made iced coffee for us every morning. We had our one year old with us and they provided a large pack and play for him to sleep in (which he LOVED) and even made his "bed" and gave him a fresh towel daily. The entire staff were more than friendly, including the young lady who cleaned our room. Oftentimes we would leave the room a bit later to get the day started and she would always wait on us to clean it. We also had yoga mats placed down for our son, which she kindly rolled up so she could mop the floors underneath. I would stay at Nymphes again without hesitation. It's a great hotel for young families. You really feel at home.

    Like staying with family

Amazingly convenient location near town, local beach, restaurants and port, clean lovely air-conditioned rooms, great bathrooms, home made breakfast buffet, beautiful pool and view but most of all the family that runs this charming boutique hotel will become family. They are warm, sincere and want to make your stay a relaxing experience. Cannot say enough.

    Like Staying With Family

Nymphes is a small, lovely hotel located about a 10 minute walk from the Main Street in Kamares. A short walk closer by are 2 beach bars with a limited food menu. It is well-cared for and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which gives it a welcoming vibe. The included breakfast is excellent, with some unusual choices which differed each day. The first morning I asked for Greek coffee; each day thereafter the waiter remembered my order and had my coffee ready when I arrived. The rizogalo was excellent! We had a nightcap each evening by the pool, which was quiet in the evening. If you prefer a laid back atmosphere, this could be the place for you.
