Just AMAZINGGGGG!!We spent 4 nights in Nuarro with our friends and our 2 children (6 and 11). The accommodation is really nice, the meals are delicious and location is fantastic. The offshore snorkeling is great, the coral reef just a few steps from the shore. The manager (Tibea) is really really kind, always trying to help.We only went diving 1 day, because we hadn't dived for a long time and we weren't very confident, the dive masters (Kerry and Ray) were really really helpful, and the dive was really nice. We also rented some bikes in the afternoon to see the villages and landscape around Nuarro...and it was beautiful, the people from the villages were very nice. It was a pity we didn't see the whales on our whale watching tour.........so we will come back to see them. If you like nature.....this is the place. Thanks Tibea, Evan , Kerry , Ray (thanks for your help with everything) and all the staff (waiters, cooks........) hope to come back soon!!!!

Paradise out of the beaten paths !We have spent 5 nights at Nuarro Lodge and have found a real mozambican paradise ! The beautiful and comfortable chalets offer a stunning view over the sea, and are completely private. Nice food and drinks are served at the restaurant and the bar, also with an incredible sea view. The staff is very friendly and makes a lot of efforts to accommodate your wishes. Diving is fantastic as well, with a very professional team. You'll see amazing corals and many small strange creatures. Night diving highly recommended, one of the best we've done so far !! We've tried as well the activities suggested by the lodge, like kayaking in the mangrove, tour in the bush in search of local caves, biking to a secret beach (just magical !!)...you won't have the time to get bored if you want to be active, otherwise you can just enjoy the nice beach and make some snorkeling. Everything is very peaceful and cosy. Finally, last but not least...incredible sky at night :-) !

Eco lodge in a remote part of MozambiqueWe recently spend 5 nights at Nuarro Lodge, combined with 2 nights on Ilha de Mocambique, the entire trip (including transfers) booked through Nuarro Lodge and it all worked perfectly. Nuarro Lodge is located in a rather remote area of Northern Mozambique, approx 4 hours from Nampula and 1,5 hours from Nacala. It is also possible to fly to their own airstrip however, but we opted to drive, so we could see a bit more of the country. The lodge itself runs on solar power entirely and also has its own borehole and filter system, so tapwater is drinkable. We stayed in chalet #1, closests to the beach bar and activity center. The chalets offer lots of privacy and amazing views of the bay in front. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the breeze and a fan providing cooling. During our stay we enjoyed many different activities, including snorkeltrips by boat to the nearby spectacular reefs in the bay (great visibility!). We also visited the local villages Nanatha and Baixo Pinda, we toured the reserve and kayaked the mangroves, which was another highlight. Towards the end of our stay we endulged in a massage on the beach as well. The team at Nuarro Lodge surprised us with a romantic dinner on the beach one evening as well. All in all an amazing experience and highly recommended!

Unic. Outstanding. TurquoiseNuarro is without a doubt an unspoiled and breathtakingly beautifull place... where time has its own compass. The mangroves are opulent... Flora and Fauna are as diverse as well preserved. Pristine Wild Nature. Calm turquoise waters. And a great staff.
