We had a great timeWe took our camper trailer there and stayed for a week. It is a very pretty park with heaps of wildlife, right on the lake. ON the right day the swimming beach is a really lovely and chilled out spot. The management of the park is excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I also like the fact that there is zero tolerance to anti-social behaviour. Not that there was any when we were there. We quickly made friends and unlike some other places we have camped, the nature of the other campers was really nice and everyone we met was friendly. Evenings in the camp kitchen was convivial, and add to that the wallabies and kangaroos that hang around made those evenings special. The amenities are kept clean and well maintained. There is also a cafe there that makes awesome pizzas. A couple of evenings we also ate there, there is a schnitzel night, and a taco night - you need to book a table for these. The cafe is also licensed. The location is right in the middle of Myall Lakes National Park so there is heaps of exploring to do but at the same time the closest towns (villages) are 20 kms in either direction - you would be well advised to plan your stay with shopping and supplies. Some basics can be bought at the cafe. It would be hard to fault this place and myself and my kids would be keen to return. Next time I think I would like to rent a cabin (which are right on the beach). There is a large pool area which has plenty of seating, but a think there could be room for some more sun loungers. I am a single dad and I took my two kids (12/9). We all had a great time. It was the most chilled out I have felt in over a year!

Weekend from HellBooked this park based upon their facility advertising which was FALSE! Firstly and upon check in we were advised that the so called WIFI only existed at Reception which was about 1 km from our cabin The Foxtel TV only supplied 1 movie channel which was the Classics??? Regular TV offered ABC and SBS- great for Sat night viewing ! Remote tapped together and batteries were exposed. Class act eh? To top it off - cockroaches everywhere On the kitchen bench top and into any food items that you took to use NRMA have you ever heard of PEST treatments? The kitchen was very basic with 1 knife which was not sharp at all The. BBQ had little to no gas but who would want to BBQ with this antique? No Hairdryer No face washers No garbage bag liners 1 Tea Towel for a 3 day booking 1 Liquid washing up sachet for 3 days 1spare toilet roll. Are you serious ? On a positive note the shower hot water was good and so were the beds Lake view was pleasant but not if the rain fell on the verandah as it leaked ++++ Rating very poor for the price we paid Forget the 25% discount They still owe me

Beautiful Camping SpotWe had the best stay. The hosts are delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was so nice to be able to wander up and get a great coffee and yummy breakfast in the morning. The lake is stunning and so much to do in the surrounding areas. So close to the most beautiful beaches and lakes. We will be back soon. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great location but run down holiday parkwe initially booked 3 nights to stay in the lake front villa but had to cut our trip short because the villa was dirty, air-con did not work properly and it was cold, and bed sheets were not clean. there are also not many proper food alternatives around and the kitchen was not clean enough to cook with the kitchenware provided.
