  Hotel muy limpio y confortable. Habitación bonita, espaciosa y acogedora. Baño amplio y limpio. La comida del restaurante buena también. Volvería al 100%. Muy recomendable como opción para dormir en Makasar

  Should Be an Easy 5 but Sadly Have Some Hiccups

  First of all, thank you for the great hospitality from Novotel. Here is my review for 4 days stayed on Novotel. I will split it into 2 parts: 8th floor room / 1st - 3rd day : What went great: 1. The room is perfect. Large bed, comfy couch, comfy pillow. 2. Bathroom is spacious. Hot water is running great. 3. Aircon is freezing! XD. The remote needs to get fixed it is keep showing "Err" message. 4. Love the fridge. lol 5. Wifi get connected easily. although the speed and the stability need a lot of improvement. What went wrong: 1. The working table (besides the TV) should have an electric socket. 2. Dust. Yes, dust (see photo). After I watch the promotional video on the tv, it shows the cleaner wipe everything (including the phone) but in fact, the phone table (especially below the phone and the phone itself) got a lot of dust. I realized this after turning on the lamp beside the bed and call a room service (my hand gets thick dust). 4th day I got moved to the 11th floor, the receptionist tells me the room is full. Here is the review for 11th floor: What went great: 1. The room is as perfect as the 8th floor. Get a twin bed for my last day. Shockingly it comfier than the 8th-floor room bed. 2. Everything that went great on the 8th floor shown here but with an additional electric socket at the working table (finally) this should be in the 8th-floor room too! What went wrong: 1. Bathroom hot water not working. Seriously I even twist it to the maximum the water get small and no hot water. 2. The wifi is barely useable. Connected but it's very slow, and sometimes lost the connection. General review: Breakfast: What went great: 1. Go give the chef a big star. The breakfast is splendid!. 2; Love the fried rice, it's a simple menu but easily went wrong. Siomay and Otak-otak are good!. Go grab the fried rice if you are staying here. 3. Croissant is amazing. 4. Fruit is fresh and delicious. What went wrong: 1. With everything went great the only thing for me that is missing is the fried rice is not hot/warm enough. It will have become amazing if it's hot. 2. I grab a Jamu for a drink but inside the glass has two small flies on it (forget to take a pic because the dining area is pack and I want to finish quickly so the others can get a seat) Service: What went great: 1. Everything is on point. 2. Security is very friendly, give high praise to them. Keep helping me to store my online delivery even after overnight, and the smile though! 3. Health protocol is maintained properly. What went wrong: - Overall: I'm very satisfied staying in Novotel. I will be coming back here again if I come to Makassar. Definitely!.

  Great stays with excellent staff and service

  I have stayed here twice this month with family and would highly recommend this hotel for it's excellent staff, service, well maintained rooms and food quality. Check in was easy and all services were explained then we were escorted to our room. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely well maintained with a super comfy bed. We had access to the executive lounge were we had a light snack and breakfast. The snacks were beautifully presented and looked fresh and inviting. Breakfast had a wide range of options with both western and Indonesian foods which ensured there was something for everyones taste. Service was excellent from all of the staff making our stay more enjoyable. Security at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming every time we came in or out, always asked how our day was and if we needed any help. A special thank you to Alicia who ensured our stay was fantastic on both occasions. We will be back for sure soon
