  Please just dont waste your hard earned cash on this place!

  I have never felt so compelled to write a review before! I read a few before we came but just thought .. you get what you pay for and it's a cheap holiday! I've done this before and I'm a firm believer that a holiday is what you make it BUT please don't waste your money coming here! We are on our 4th day of 10 and I've wanted to cry twice ... I do not get upset by places usually! It's just shocking .... think your worst holiday nightmare and you probably won't even be close! Very briefly: Day 1 Arrived but no room ... had to stay in lovely self catering apartment across the road for one night. We went to dinner and were shocked at the buffet service (see photo) There were 3 things but we could not distinguish between them as they all tasted the same. We have learnt since that all their meals (if you can call them that) taste the same! The 'chef' (and I use that word very loosely) who, cooks with no shirt or hat on!, uses the same spices in everything, even potatoes! Day 2 Told our room would be ready at 2pm but we could stay in the apartments until then. Even though we were by the pool and then by the pool bar all morning we were told at lunch that we had to move our luggage because the apartment was needed. They had been into the locked apartment and into the locked bedroom and removed two of our bags ... they hadn't moved the suitcase because it was open!!! We went over and they had left the bedroom door AND the apartment door open! Because we were so cross they upgraded us to a sea view room but it still wasnt ready yet! Later that day they ran out of vodka, our drink! I have attached photos of the more expensive sea view room. Day 3 Same ham, cheese and bread for breakfast. They ran out of rum ... our second choice of drink. Day 4 Lunch ... and I use that word very loosely! We arrived half way through service ... plain spaghetti ... remnants in the tray. Some sort of red coloured (can't use tomato based as unlikely it had them in) concoction ... remnants in tray. Potatoes... spiced again. Chicken legs covered in flies. We ended up with the cold potatoes with some grated tasteless rubber on top (we thought it might be cheese). We asked if there was anything else ... no, sorry! Every meal has been a choice of 2 meat/fish based concoctions, some plain pasta and potatoes. Desert has been water melon every day with peaches one day and honey dew melon another day! SO ... I am writing this on day 4 to warn you not to waste your money! It's a real shame because if they took some time to make small improvements it could be a lovely place. On a positive note, the blonde bar girl is very friendly and polite. The rest of the staff were friendly enough until they read my posts, in which I tagged the hotel, since then they have just glowered at us! All my posts were honest and polite .... I just wished they would speak to someone on how they could improve. Oh yes ... they found us easily when they wanted to ask us to remove photos of the delivery boy on a scooter because it was the owners son and he was under 16. Yet, they couldn't find us, in exactly the same place, the day before when our luggage needed moving! Around the hotel outside there is sometimes a smell of drains! Which reminds me .... you can't put toilet paper down the toilet ... they provide a swing top bin to put it in ... and it's emptied every 4 (FOUR) days!! We have tried desperately not to let things spoil our holiday but it has been particularly difficult to stay upbeat today. Please, please don't spend your hard earned cash coming here. I don't do regrets but at the age of 54 this is my first one!

  La La La

  Sunbeds were NOT adjustable and have NO madresses - AWESOME !!! - The poolarea was very small ... The firestairs had only 1 step ... The room was ok ... The little village Gennadi was nice and quiet ... and check out the ancient Olivepress-museum.

  Terrible

  Everything you read about the bad reviews of this hotel are true no vodka for two days no water for two days no beer for two days food was terrible rooms were clean tho lived on ham and cheese sandwich from local shop came home 3 days early ....don't go there.....

  Not Good in the Golden

  On our first sight the hotel looked responsible but we did arrive at night 21.30pm. The food was very limited and not very nice. Breakfast was ham, cheese, eggs and bread. On the odd occasion we had croissants but if they all went.there wasn't any more. It was advertised as free WiFi but had to pay 10 euro. Around the pool was ok but the overflow traps needed cleaning out and some locals also used the pool coming through gaping holes in the bushes. Bar area was ok and the local village which is about a 5 minute walk was nice with Bars and Eating places also there is a nice beach within walking distance 15 min walk Read less

  Crap hole

  Worse hotel any could wish to stay at.Should be shut down by the environmental health. Read all reviews ,plus Telly text are the ones that you book through. I complain about 20 times after coming to this place and they are as bad.They will always comment on your reviews saying there team will contact you.bull scrap.You will never get it sorted and they will keep ignoring your emails .
