Estupendo y tranquilo.Precioso hotel, limpio y cómodo, con buenas habitaciones, un buen desayuno y una hermosa piscina. Nos alojamos allí por unos días en julio y tuvimos una estancia muy agradable. El personal es muy amable y nos sentimos casi como en casa. Queremos agradecer especialmente a María, Soula, y Giannis. Sin duda recomendaría este hotel a cualquiera que busque un buen lugar para relajarse en Creta.

Peaceful and relaxingI have stayed twice at Notes Heights, and the location close to old town is excellent - the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the warm breeze very welcoming. The first stay was with a group of friends - it's nice to be slightly away from the busy bars - it is a fair walk to the beaches, but there are worse problems to have as it's a very enjoyable walk. We think its better to stay up on the hill where it's very quiet, and dip in and out of the bars and nightlife. Old Town has some lovely restaurants - it's a very relaxing holiday and the perfect place to stay. I look forward to returning

Little gem in the Old townPerfectly located just outside the old town in Malia. New, clean spacious rooms with a lovely sunset from the balcony. Swimming pool is large and has lovely wide padded sun loungers. Would definitely recommend.

Poor customer serviceThe hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and tidy, good showers. All beds are just twins pushed together. The pool is clean, and plenty of sun loungers including 4 cabanas - all just on a first come, first served basis. The bar/restaurant was open for lunch and breakfast, but not open in the evening. We were not informed of this prior to arrival. There was a lack of staff at the hotel. The only person there all day is the very lovely lady running the pool bar. We arrived at 1200 and the bar lady had to show us to our rooms. Unfortunately the hot water stopped working in our part of the hotel, and again due to the lack of staff, the only person to inform was the bar lady. It took 2 days to get fixed, so that was 2 days with no hot water and we werent offered anywhere else to shower - even though it wasnt the whole hotel without hot water. We also lost hot water for another day, some 3 days in total. Never received an apology or explanation, as there were no staff. I know we traveled during COVID and some changes were to be expected, but having no Front of house staff, and no hot water is very poor.

I would certainly visit again! The description of the bungalow room was a little misleading, whilst we didn't expect a full kitchen we did anticipate a microwave which was mentioned in previous reviews. However, the location of these apartments is perfect to be away from all of the town action, yet close enough for it to be walkable without any disturbance. All of the staff were wonderful, caring and family oriented even when our offspring were not being ultra friendly they were dealt with in a firm but friendly manner. I can see why families would send their teens there for a first holiday without them, no request was too much trouble. It would be good if you could leave the path lights on on the approach to the bungalow whilst you are out at night, this turns off when you remove the room key, and the pool would be more disabled/child friendly if it had a handrail at the shallow end next to the stairs. As my own mobility varies this is the only thing which would prevent me from returning year after year, as many of the other guests we met seemed to be doing. Lovely food, breakfast did not have to be taken at the crack of dawn, all staff tirelessly cheerful.
