  Wheelchair friendly

  I was travelling with my mother who requires a wheelchair. This hotel had easy entrances and rooms on the first floor so she didn't need to go far to get to her room. The hotel was also nicely appointed, clean rooms, comfortable beds.

  Clean, pleasant, and comfortable

  The hotel staff was friendly, room was clean and beautiful- we stayed in one of the new ones on the 3rd floor. It was quiet even though hotel was quite full- we did not hear other guests. Bathroom was large with stand up shower. Parking was plentiful. Easy to get to off of Route 95.

  Run down, noisy, thoughtless

  We came to stay as part of a wedding block. At first sight, room looked good, very clean, which redeems some of the stay. Location is good too. Walking distance from nearby coffee shops and restaurants. Short drive distance from all major attractions. However, the walls are paper thin, the toilets are industrial and very loud. As a result, everytime someone in rooms next to us woke up to use the bathroom, we woke up. By the additional flushing sounds that followed, we weren't the only ones. We could also hear the elevator dinging all night long though we were not near it as well as the bass from the party below. Another weird issue is it seemed like hotel staff are well intentioned but don't take things all the way through. Someone tried to clean the glass waterfall, but gave up half way; our bathtub caulking was definitely re-done but not in the original color so the tub had grey spots on it; bathroom tiles were put in an inconsistent way; the picture on the accent wall of the room was significantly bigger than the tv in front of it; the breakfast didn't have cup size bowls for the oatmeal, those were saved for special occasions (post wedding brunch). None of these things are terrible. But they built up to make the place feel cheap and unintentional. We lucked out and had beautiful weather all weekend so we were out and about and really only needed the hotel for bedtime and getting ready. We had a lovely wedding at a different location and overall enjoyed our Norwalk stay. We hope this Inn will reach its full potential at some point

  Not what it used to be...

  My family has been coming here for years. We recently visited and it was definitely a different clientele. Seems like a lot of people live there long term, people sneaking in the pool to swim, pay to swim is allowed. With the Coronavirus it really scared me as we sat at the pool. No one comes out to make sure social distancing was followed, table and chairs never wiped down, unregistered guests ( cant be tracked in case of spread of viruses by health department), people drinking own drinks, swearing , smoking right on the pool ledge. One person who seems to live here full time was drinking and was so drunk they dived in with all their clothes on. At night and day people are sitting in their cars in the back for long periods of times, constantly. Maintenance workers out back drinking beer by the back door. My husband went to work out to find a guy sleeping on the floor in the dark in the gym. Really sad that my family could not even enjoy this hotel like we used to. The only time employees were actually watching the outside or pool area was when the owner was present. Other families were overheard saying the same about the lack of management. Will not be going back and will stop referring my friends and family.

  We stayed 3 nights the first night arrived at midnight our room was small but clean The next day no room service no clean towels no one entered our room that night the guests in the next room sounded like they were in our room at around 1 am she decided to take a shower and fell in the tub and cackled for 10 minutes. The next day back to our room still no room Service no clean towels Or coffee refills. The same guests were staying in the room next door she was singing and dancings after that she was talking on the phone and you could hear every word she was not quite until 11:30 pm. We had to be up at 2:00 am to catch an early flight home
