  Great Food and Prices

  I was prepared to be disappointed given Pub restaurants are sometimes a let down but I was totally was blown away with their food. Portions were good and the food was of excellent quality. I will definitely come back again with my family.

  Abundance of food, excellent

  Wow, excellent meals!!! A huge plateful and delicious . I had the pork belly on Kumara mash and vegetables and my friend had the beef hamburger and with salad and lots of fries. Neither of us could finish our meals. Highly recommend this place for a substantial meal.

  Historic Pub

  Amazingly surprised at this very old world (well in New Zealand) hotel. Walked in looking for lunch, super surprised at the beautiful interior, extensive menu, super friendly efficient staff, and of course the food variety excellent . All 5 of our meals were coked to perfection by the Thai chefs kitchen team. Generous proportions and well priced. A must if passing through or even wishing to stay the night.

  Old world charm.

  We stayed one night in this historic old pub and what a darling she is. Feels very comfy and safe. Im sure the walls could tell a heap of stories tho. Its very basic but clean and the bed was comfy. Thoughly enjoyed our stay. One word of warning the walls are very thin.
