  Great even during Covid

  David and Kevin are outstanding hosts. We were traveling with two other couples and were fortunate to be the only guests for the two nights on the property. This allowed us to use the living area as a group despite Covid restrictions. All rooms were clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was exceptional. The property is centrally located, making our site visits and dining around Asheville very convenient.

  North Lodge Impresses!

  I have always preferred a four-star, hotel accommodation but decided that Asheville seemed the perfect location to try a B & B. David and Keith are wonderful innkeepers who are perfectly attentive while not being overbearing (an issue I have heard from others who stay at B & B properties). The Inn is so comfortable and so, so clean. I am a stickler for cleanliness and to say that the room and bathroom were spotless is an understatement. The triple sheeted beds and luxury linens with UGG pillows made for a dreamy sleep. The breakfast is worth staying here for alone. The dining room is cozy and intimate (socially distanced, of course). The three courses complemented each other perfectly and was more than we could eat! David is a sensational cook. DO NOT hesitate to book this Inn. My traveling companion and I agree that we will be back very soon! Thank you for your hospitality (oh, and the in-room massage, which they arranged for us last minute).

  Birthday trip for my husband

  We had a wonderful time! Delicious breakfast, lovely decor, welcoming hosts, and comfortable bed! We also met a few of the guests when in gathering area. Just lovely! Couldnt visit the grounds due to rain, but looked like efforts have been made to make it really nice! Would like to see in spring! The owners even recommended a couple restaurants to us that were delicious.

  A Gem in Asheville

  There is a lot of love in this home and business. It is apparent everywhere. All you have to do is be present, settle in, quiet yourself from life before you step over the threshold and listen to the heartbeat of this home. Leave everything behind and relish in this magical place. The hosts are genuine and kind, and they obviously understand customer service. The house is quiet and the rooms are delightful. The special touches like treats left in the dining area and engaging chats with Kevin and Dave. Oh, and the breakfasts! Dave is a fabulous cook and the attention to flavor and detail. Yummy! This is not a BnB leaving you seeking a follow up breakfast. The rooms are quiet, clean and the beds are comfortable. Very comfortable. The sheets are divine! I could go on, but I think you get the picture. I was a solo traveler and like my solitude but I liked knowing the hosts were nearby if needed and never felt alone. Interreacting with the other guests was an unexpected treat. I have a new friend! GREAT WiFi! I don't know if technically the rooms are soundproofed but I gave a webinar during my stay and the house was silent. I did give them a heads up about the time of the webinar and the hosts graciously accommodated by not coming up the stairs during that time. Do yourself a favor and book a couple nights or an extended stay and explore Asheville and surrounding areas. Enjoy life!

  A weekend to remember

  Great hospitality, great room, great food. Went for a long weekend including Valentines Day and was warmly greeted by one of the owners. Our room had the added touches of roses and wine for the special weekend. It was my boyfriends first experience at a B-n-B and I was so glad this is where I chose to introduce him to one. The food was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and cozy. The hosts are warm and friendly and made us feel like it was our home for the weekend. Only disappointment was the basement speakeasy was closed due to COVID, but we plan on returning once things get back to normal to get the full North Lodge experience.
