  Lovely Stay

  The photos dont do this hotel justice, to some who have become accustomed to Premier Inns etc it may seem a little dated in the photos, but I can promise that in reality it is a lovely hotel, well managed, very welcoming and has been obviously upgraded in targeted areas recently. We came as a family of 4 (2 adults 2 children) for an overnight stay - partly to check out Lynton / Lynmouth and do the cliff railway and partly to break up a long drive to Cornwall - we will absolutely be back to this hotel again in future. The family room (Room 1) is exceptional, breakfast was lovely and the honesty bar is perfect. Owner was lovely and very accommodating !

  Really Enjoyed Our Stay

  We stayed here for two nights and were very happy with our stay. We're particularly picky when it comes to bathrooms - separate taps and low shower pressure annoy us. The bathroom (shower room) had recently been thoughtfully updated and was perfect with loads of water pressure in the shower and mixer tap - all sparkling clean. The bed was comfortable and the views were truly lovely. Location couldn't be beat being right near the funicular and stones throw from all Lynton has to offer. Breakfast had a bit of a massed produced feel/taste and was not as good as the other places where we stayed. However, it was good enough and wasn't a major negative. The couple who run the hotel and their son were all really lovely to deal with - friendly and accommodating. It's obvious that they truly care about their guests and the success of their business. I would definitely stay here again.

  A fabulous seaview from your bed!

  This hotel has seen some phenomenal refurbishment over this year. It is a very comfortable place to stay with unbeatable seaviews. The hosts are very welcoming and provide a great breakfast too! It's also a really handy location for those wanting to walk the coastal path as it's right outside the front door! Very highly recommended!

  Perfect get away

  I booked to stay at the north cliff hotel for a birthday treat for my partner he never likes us going away without lilly our dog so was a bonus she could come with us. Everything about this hotel is perfect it's location, the stunning views the fact it's family run. Our room was newly refurbished to a high standard and furnished completely in keeping with its surroundings. It's refreshing to see the character of a beautiful old house kept and not stripped of its identity. The dinner menu was simple but well cooked and tasty and very good value for money. Just perfect will definitely be back

  Lovely find in Lynton

  We have just returned from a mini break staying at the North Cliff and can highly recommend Rebecca and her team on everything that made our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble and the extra touches such as the 'boot room' and the 'honesty box' in the lounge made this feel very homely. The room was cosy and had everything that was needed to settle down on a damp October evening. Breakfast was delicious with the local produce being used. The location is absolutely stunning even in the late Autumn / early winter and we are already thinking of a return to the hotel and area in the spring/ summer to fully appreciate the beautiful coastal area. A great base to get about in North Devon. Congratulations Rebecca in making a very pleasant experience.
