    A very good place

Nicely placed , quite . Offers bikes which one can use ad libitum. We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend . Lot of sun , the beach is very close . Spring Lake is a real cute town . The rooms are okay . The breakfast could be a little more varied but all in all, a very good place .

    Ideal location, nice time

My grown daughter and I stayed here recently and enjoyed ourselves. Luckily, we were able to book just one night for our short, mid week stay. We were able to obtain the beach passes before our room was ready which was a plus. It was a short block and a half walk to the beach. The Inn is beautiful: parlors, sitting rooms, front porch and dining area. Our room was very small, but manageable since we didn't spend much time there. The breakfast was very good... my pancakes were thin as I like them, almost crepe like and delicious. I might have preferred a buffet for breakfast rather than ordering off the menu. The tables were also individual, in other inns and bed and breakfasts where I have stayed, there is more of a large table where everyone sits and you can converse with other guests. So this was a little different. Also there was a late afternoon tea with yummy sweet treats, though didn't want to eat too much since I was trying to save room for dinner.I imagine the owners are not on site, the inn keepers were very nice, but didn't interact with the guests, like I have experienced elsewhere, maybe because they are not the owners? Overall, a very nice place with more to offer than other places where we have stayed in Spring Lake.

    well run B&B

Such a historic and old house...a pleasure to experience old style living with modern amenities. Only downside was the stairs we had to climb to get to the second floor rooms and the breakfast, some of which was very good (the pancakes) and the rest which was okay (eggs)

    Wonderful town and mediocre B&B

Cannot say more good things about the town of Spring Lake. Absolutely amazing. However, there are many nicer places to stay. The Normandy Inn is very historic and if you like this type of property that is very old and nostalgic, you'll love it here. However, we are used to staying in more updated places. We stayed in the tower room which is quite small, but has amazing panoramic views. Downside was that our private bathroom was down a flight of stairs, which was a bit inconvenient. The staff and breakfast were wonderful. We just did not like our room and the location of the restroom.

    Charming Bed and Breakfast

We spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Normandy Inn. It has a wonderful Victorian feel. There is plenty of space to relax, two living room areas and an enclosed porch, in addition to a great wraparound porch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is off the menu in an attractive dining room with individual tables. Food was very good and all of the options were tempting. The delicious homemade muffin was a bonus. Initially we were put in the tower room. Unfortunately the (private) bathroom was down a flight of steps and several doors down the hall. The staff was able to move us to a different room with an en-suite bathroom and that made our stay more enjoyable. Every room is different. We booked online, so I suggest calling and booking directly with the inn. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this might not fit the bill, but the Inn is clean and charming and has a warm, homey feel. We look forward to returning.
